I flew a long way to obtain this Jaguar and another sister XKE. The cars were part of a  two hundred car  collection. I was extremely disappointed upon reviewing the cars. hey were stored in a deplorable setting. I went back to the hotel. ested and awoke the next morning with the thought that I cannot walk away from an opportunity to buy a pair of Jaguar XKE cars. I made an offer bought the cars. hipped them to Nashville. had buyers remorse that stayed with me until an initial country test drive. I had this XKE refurbished mechanically to driver condition. rove the car. hen reviewed it on the lift. I discovered I had a really solid driving car with great integrity . This car is one of those "soul" cars. t has a great throaty. trong. olid drive with strong torque and great audio note from the exhaust. The suspension is tight. he engine is tight. he transmission is tight. he wheels are true. ombined it creates  a great driver. The cosmetics looked crusty but upon further inspection. he car is very solid with a few minor blemishes and a poor paint job of decades ago. All the electrical lights. nd gauges work properly. The tires are a brand new set of $1000 Michelin Redlines(very smooth).
