1970 PONTIAC GTO
You are viewing a beautiful 1970 GTO hardtop with a numbers matching drive train and original rust free body. Below is a complete description.

BODY:
The body on this GTO retains all of its original sheet metal which is rust free. This is an early built GTO with a build date of 12C(3RD week of December 1969). It is a true GTO as shown with the 42 code in the vin# 242370P187359. The original adult owner purchased this GTO for his wife and kept this car garaged until he sold it to the second owner in 1980. That owner continued the same care on this GTO until 1993 when he had it completely repainted in the original cardinal red. (code 75 75). color. He kept this car until this year when the present owner purchased it. You can see by the photos this car looks awesome. All of the chrome. trim and glass remain in good condition. Rally II wheels with radial tires are mounted on all 4 corners to complete the beautiful exterior of this GTO.

INTERIOR:
The black interior. code 258). remains original and is in very good condition. The drivers seat bolster is a little worn. This interior is equipped with power steering. power disc brakes. center console and radio. The trunk area is rust free and still carries the original spare with bias ply tire and original jack assembly.

DRIVE TRAIN:
Under the hood of this Gto is the Original numbers matching 400 cubic inch Pontiac engine. It carries a block date code of “L109” (DECEMBER 10TH 1969). a block casting number 9799914 ( 1970 400 cu. in. 350hp). YS code( 1970 GTO 400/350hp AUTOMATIC). #13 heads( 400/350hp-automatic) with dates codes of L119 AND L129( December 11th and 12th 1969). 9794234 Intake manifold(400 cu. In. 4 bbl. ) 20P187359 VIN appears on front of block confirming original engine to this car. This engine was rebuilt in 1988 and has about 15000 miles on it now. The transmission is the Turbo 400 unit and carries an ID tag showing 70 PY 13703( 1970 GTO 400 ENGINE). This transmission was also rebuilt in 1988 with the engine. The rear differential is the original 10 bolt unit spinning a 3:55 gear. This GTO runs. drives and looks awesome. If you are looking for a real GTO with original sheet metal and drive train this is the car for you.

THE OWNER HAS THE PHS DOCUMENTATION. ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL AND SOME ORIGINAL INSPECTION REPORTS FROM KENTUCKY WHERE THE CAR WAS PURCHASED.
