  1973 Triumph Stag V8!!! 

   Here is an absolutely gorgeous 1973 Triumph Stag finished in a very rare factory color combo of Emerald Green over a Black interior!!! This is a great looking car but it is also a great driving car. This car has only traveled 40k miles since new and is one of the finest Stags around. This car has NEVER been in an accident or had any rust repair. This car was just  repainted about 2 years and the car looks absolutely stunning. This car features a strong Triumph V8 that sounds absolutely incredible. This is one of the best sounding V8s I have ever heard.   The engine was rebuilt at a cost of over 12k dollars. This car also has the rare Automatic transmission that has also been rebuilt as well.   This car is in excellent condition and it is the best driving Triumphs I have ever come across. The paint job is very nice and the body is laser straight.   Everything on the car lines up incredibly well and this is one of the nicest bodies I have ever come across. This Stag is RUST FREE!!! The black interior is like new and in excellent condition and the convertible top is new canvas top. This car also comes with the desirable factory hardtop as well. This is an extremely well sorted car with no issues. This car has been driven and enjoyed and I feel confident this car could make a long journey with no issues. There are not many classic cars you can say that about!!! This car is in great shape cosmetically and mechanically. If you are looking for a great looking and great driving car. you have found it!!! The Triumph Stag was an excellent car built just a little too late. How many British Sports Cars can you buy for less than 20k dollars and have a V8. automatic transmission. A/C. both soft top and hard top and 4 seats? One drive in this Classic British Sports Car and with the top down on a spring day its easy to understand why these cars are so coveted by those who own them. I purchased this car about two years ago from an avid Triumph enthusiast. he is actually the/one of the editors of the Triumph Stag news letter. He performed the mechanical restoration and I did a cosmetic restoration on it during my ownership. I then sold it to a gentleman who never had a chance to use it and only put on about 200 miles in the last two years. This is a solid Triumph Stag that is in excellent shape  and is surely to make its new owner happy!

Exterior: The factory correct Emerald Green paint finish on this classic looks great. The paint job is like new (2 years old and about 200 miles) and in excellent condition. As you can see from the photos the body is laser straight.   The paint job was a very high quality job and not an inexpensive quick repaint. This whole car was done by professionals and it shows. The chrome is in excellent shape and looks gogeous. Only the door handle chrome and rear view mirror are showing age. I do have a brand new side view mirrior that I can put on. but I could not source the original style remote mirror. A standard mirror does come with the car. The convertible top was installed two years ago and I don't think it has ever been up. It is a very nice high quality canvas top with a zip out rear window.   It also comes with a nice factory hardtop as well. The car looks excellent with its beautiful paint and chrome trim sitting on a beautiful set of Chrome wire wheels. Overall the exterior of this Triumph is in excellent condition!!!

Interior: The beautiful Black interior is new (2 years ago and 200 miles) and in excellent shape. The seats look gorgeous and the padding is in excellent shape.   The seat upholstery is all free of rips. tears and stains.   The door panels are also in excellent shape.   The dash board is free of any cracks or splits and the wood dash is in excellent condition. The tops of the dash are free of cracks and everything on the dash is working just as it should. All of the gauges were gone through and everything is working in tip top condition.   Only the clock is currently not working. Overall the interior of this classic is in Excellent shape. Behind the wheel is a great place to waste the weekend away.

Engine: This classic 1973 Triumph Stag  is an excellent driving and well sorted car. The engine pulls strongly and smoothly without smoking. The car fires right up and runs like a top. The original Triumph V8 engine has been rebuilt at an enormous expense and was rebuilt by Triumph Stag Specialists who have sorted all of the "issues" these car were built with. Rest assured. this engine was rebuilt properly. The rebuilt transmission shifts beautifully through all the gears and the linkage feels nice and tight. The brakes have just been gone through with new pads and rotors. The brakes are strong and stop this car with ease. The car tracks down the road without wondering and freeway journeys are pleasurable. This car has the deseriable chrome wire wheels which can be hard to find and have been treated to brand new tubes and brand new tires. The desirable automatic transmission also makes for relaxed cruising on the highway. The car overall has a very tight feeling and nothing about the car feels worn out. Many "freshly restored" cars for sale have only been driven down the street and in and out of the back of a trailer for shows. this car has had all the "kinks" worked out of it and it is fully roadworthy.   This is a fun car to cruise and enjoy classic British motoring.
