Luxury SUV , RARE Italian Design American Muscle power

This 1989 LaForza was one of 900 imported in the US . Laforza contracted with Pinnin Farina . f Ferrari fame . o assemble the chassis. ody. nd the interior . The cars were shipped to Cars and Concepts in Michigan where a special Ford Performance  Factory 5. 0 fuel -injected V8. nd a 4 speed automatic with overdrive was installed.
This car was purchased  new in  Southern California . With 14. 00 miles it was sold in 2003 to the second owner in Portland Oregon. The second owner wanted additional performance and proceeded to pul the engine and had it completely upgraded with a Kenne Bell supercharger with Air Research Heads . am and pistons. The trans was upgraded to a heavy duty 4 speed unit . Receipts of almost $17. 00 are available for review . I purchased the Car with 20. 00 miles this year. It was completely serviced . ll fluids. filters . sensors updated . nd A/C to current stands with a new compressor and dryer . The cost was $3000 receipts available . I drove the car  this pass summer up north and planned it as a extra car to leave at my vacation location . Unfortunately plans changed and the car was shipped to Florida my winter residence.
This car is in exceptional condition and looks showroom new on the exterior . nterior and even the undercarriage . The interior is all Gray Leather without any blemishes . The wood is light Burl similar the the Maserati veneer of that vintage . Carpet like new and custom LaForza mats . this rare SUV seats 5 in comfort . as 6 way power front seats . the rear seats can be removed in seconds . ithout tools to yield 96 cubic feet of cargo space with the spare in place . There is a power tilting sunroof . ual power mirrors . nd a key change remote. There is cruise control and a new upgraded satellite and computer compatible radio with multiple speakers .
The suspension was also upgraded with custom Quiknor stabilizer bars and re calibrated  Bilstein shocks . Tires are  Yokohama Goosanders . 265-70R −16S. The length is 179. 9 ". heelbase 106" height 72. 6" and weighs 5520 lbs . It is alleged that this 18 gauge steel body . ith a truck box frame broke the Crash barrier during safty testin. It was considered a security vehicle in Europe . It is equipped with a heavy duty unused towing package 
All of the engine . ransmission parts are readily available Ford components . The transfer case is Chrysler . All the suspensions parts . rakes etc are a  from a Southern California supplier . The book and tools are all present . Every thing works . o problems .
The first . nd second and now myself all purchased this car because it is unique and rare .  I am a collector with several antique and exotic automobiles. The history is that Joe Monterosso . he former importer of DOT converted Ferrari Boxers made the deal to bring this 80's Italian military . overnmental police to the US . Like the Cadillac Allante made at the same time by Pinnin Farina it was sent to the US for the power train. It was designed by Tom Tjaarda of Pantera fame.
