This is a 1980 British Leyland Classic Mini Clubman. it is sold as for a project rebuild or for spares or repair as it does not have an MOT and would probably need a complete rebuild to get it back on the road. This car belonged to my mom. Up until 2007 it had been used on the road very reliably. It failed its MOT in 2006 as the chassis was corroded. As a project I had planned to get it back on the road but never got round to doing it. It has been sat on the drive for some years but it still starts and runs and I do occasionally turn it around. though I think the brakes are a bit seized \catching.

The body work isn't too bad for the age but there is some rust on the door bottoms. The rear part of the roof and body under the rear window has rusted quite badly. The chassis has also rusted quite badly as well as in the engine bay. Not all of the lights work but this is probably to be expected as it has been stood around for so long. The passenger side rear tire has started leaking around the rim so I have propped it up on some wood and bricks. it will stay up for about ~3hrs.

The engine runs smooth and pulls well. with the clutch and gearbox also fine. The engine runs on unleaded fuel. which I think was converted some years ago. The interior is brown and all original but has some damp marks. but you can brush this off.

The car has a personalised number plate (GOK 26W) which was on since mom purchased the car (it doesn't mean anything to us). we were told this was worth £250 and this would come with the car although I am not sure how you would redeem this.

Sensible offers welcome and serious viewings can be arranged. no time wasters please.
