1996 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins Turbo Diesel Crew Cab.

2 wheel drive. automatic. long bed.

This is a crew cab conversion built by a conversion company in 1996.   This truck started life as a regular cab Ram 2500. From the factory it went right to the conversion company. The company that built it was called Master Truck and Van Conversions. How ever they are not around any more. The  rear seats are a factory bench from Dodge. I don't have any idea what the rear doors are. My guess is they are all custom. Not from a Chevy that I can see. They do have window motors in them with switches wired up but the rear windows do not roll up and down. I don't know why. The front windows are also power do roll up and down.  The passenger side can be a little slow sometimes.

The motor in this truck is the highly desired legendary p pump 12 valve Cummins. Its known for its longevity. Its known for the great mpg. Its known for the power it can make if you desire.

It does have delivery valves installed and some work done to the afc.  It does have the power to pass people on the interstate now :)

It runs and drives very well!!

The transmission is an automatic 47re. It has a transgo shift kit installed.  It has a tow haul mode and I have installed a lock up switch.  

354 gears.

The truck only has 106k miles on it which is almost unheard in the Cummins world. There's 2010 and up trucks with more miles than that! I bought this truck a few years ago with only 82k on it. I bought it for the sole reason to take on road trips.  I have driven it to all the surrounding states of Nevada multiple times. It is super spacious inside. Plenty of room for every one to stretch out.   Average Mpg on the road is roughly 18-19 but I have broken over 21.

This Ram is equipped with a tow hitch receiver and a B&W turnover gooseneck ball along with a Prodigy P2 brake controller.

The bed also has a spray in bed liner that goes over the bed rails as well. Inside the bed is a low profile locking tool box.

The truck is equipped with air bags in the rear for towing that is operated by a toggle switch. It has an on board air compressor with an air tank. Hooked up to the air tank is an air chuck for air tools! Comes in very handy for changing tires on the side of the road or adding air to tires.

Down inside the front bumper are 2 6 inch led lights. Each one is rated at 2500 lumens. They are both operated by the same switch which is on a relay and each power wire is also fused.

This truck has upgraded flip out tow power mirrors!

It has 3rd gen factory Dodge 17" wheels on some General tires! Even has a factory 17" spare under the bed!

The exterior color is a dark charcoal grey. The paint is a couple years old and does have some minor scratches or dings. Some of the body work on the rear doors is cracking but it is very minor.

Inside the truck is tan leather. The driver seat is power.  Most of the seats are in good condition except the driver seat. which does have the normal Dodge wear and tear. Nothing a seat cover wouldn't fix. Or maybe a quick trip to your local salvage yard.

Both front and rear seats are Dodge factory benches with flip down center console and storage. The front bench has the Genos Garage console cup holder.

The top of the dash has been replaced due to the stock plastic being so brittle. It is grey. I did order tan but received grey and decided to use it anyway. A quick fix from a dash cover. The lower dash does have some cracks in it as well but nothing to big. I can provide pics if you'd like. The dash cracks are also a notorious Dodge problem. But the Cummins has always been a bigger pro than the smaller cons of owning a Dodge. You can ask anyone who owns a Cummins truck.

3 gauge pillar pod with Autometer Phantom Gauges.  Boost. Transmission Temp and Pyrometer with led bulbs.  

It has a Kenwood deck with cd player and auxiliary ports with Ipod controls.   

In the pics there is a fuel transfer tank in the bed but that is not sold with the truck. I will be removing that before buyer pick up.  

This is my most favorite vehicle I have ever owned. I will be sad to see it go. My only hope is that who ever buys it will love it as much as I do.
