Later and rarer 101 series 1600cc/5 speed Sprint. Left hand drive. Only running in mileage since sympathetically nut and bolt restored in Italy to original authentic condition. with all period correct materials. using an already very sound 70. 00 klm dry southern Italian car as a basis. ASI certified as having been restored to the very highest level. indeed the inspector's report describes the restoration as being to a ‘radically high standard'. The arrow straight Bertone bodywork is flawless. finished in a light turquoise blue called "azzurro acqua" (this is NOT baby blue). The quality of the paint is fabulous. no orange peel with a thin. deep lustrous shine contrasted by a superb off white and blue cloth trim. Mechanically. the car is completely standard and properly set up. This Sprint performs without fault; if you've never driven a sorted example of one of these cars. you'll not know what delightful and responsive machine these are. better than the 105 series in my opinion. and with the gutsier 1600cc motor. quicker than the 750 series Giulietta models. even a veloce. Underneath…ouch this is where the majority of Sprint owners won't want you to look. This car is just as good underneath as on top. totally rot free and never seen a welding torch and correct in every detail. Any inspection encouraged. Imported here in 2012 and supplied with MOT/tax. tailored branded indoor car cover. ASI certification and plaque. tailored protective mats and seat covers. original owner's manual and original key fob.
