A beautiful one owner 1980 Triumph TR-7 Limited Edition Fuel Injected Spider up for sale. This rust free California car has been well maintained and always garaged. This was a daily driver for many years until placed into storage after an engine failure. A frame on restoration was completed in the spring of 2007 using many original parts some that have been rebuilt or replaced with OEM Factory parts and includes some minor upgrades. The original factory fuel Injected 4 cylinder 2. 0 liter 8 valve engine was rebuilt in 2012 and is rated at about 115 HP. The odometer currently shows a total of 87887 actual miles (2437 miles on the rebuilt engine and transmission). The exterior paint was taken down to bare metal. primed and repainted in the spring of 2007. The interior of the car has been refurbished and the seats recovered to match the original black and gray striping. The carpeting and dash are factory original as is the boot and the interior of the engine bay. This car is licensed and has passed California smog testing as recently as August 2014. Seller has full documentation including numbers matching certification from the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust. Please serious buyers only. The original factory installed 5 Speed LT77 Transmission CL-106888-C. was disassembled and inspected. found to be in perfect condition and reassembled with new seals and installed August 2012
