For sale is my 1960 Slit screen ute. I bought this ute as a promo vehicle for my business and it turned a lot of heads. recently featured on Aussie pickers episode.

Sadly I'm moving house and no room in garage to fit her so she has to go

Does need some rust fixed up for RWC as previous owner had put a really thin alloy cover over sills and bottom of gates. I just painted over it and from 10 feet away you can't even see it. however there is rust under it but I don't think it's too bad really. just looks like the outer sill probally had a few holes - see pic showing it before I painted over the alloy. will also need couple of outriggers replaced

Originally dove blue as seen inside cab. has been painted a battleship grey colour probally about 20 years ago and has a really nice patina - I really like it just how it is

It has a 1600 twin port in it than runs great. and car drives really well. I had a vw guy look at the car to fix rust and he said $3. 00 plus paint - which you could just brush on to blend in to existing

I had 2 metal frames to original specs welded up to put it back to a bench seat - just need ply and foam and covering to replace the non original bucket seats

Starting price is reserve - pick up in Geelong - $500 deposit to be made within 24 hours of auction close

Inspections welcome. being a running vehicle you will have no problems getting it transported interstate or just get a permit and drive it home

Perfect business promo vehicle or daily cruiser

Car is being sold as is. no RWC or rego or warrantee. it is up to the buyer to determine vehicle condition and not rely solely on a description

Note I have cut off the non original driving light holder on front bumper - see pic in garage

May consider a swap of fishing boat - only Aluminium not fiberglass And no Pay Pal - I don't agree with the fees so bank deposit ONLY - or cash on pick up
