Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.05) based on 248 votes
The XK150 was the final iteration of this hugely successful Jaguar Car. The evolution from the 120 to the 150 saw many changes and improvements in power and comfort. The ultimate and final iteration was the series of cars signified by the subtle 'S' insignia on the top section of each door.

Of the 'S' variants the 3. 8 litre S was the most potent of all the XK cars built. 265bhp was made available to the driver from the largest capacity XK engine to date. With fuel delivered through triple 2'' SU carburettors the 3. 8S was not unsurprisingly the fastest of all the XK cars.

Fast and ultra rare the 3. 8S is the most sought after and valuable XK at this time.

8895WW is an original right hand drive car retaining its correct chassis and original engine. The car was restored for the present owner by marquee specialist John May in the late 1990's and converted from fixed head spec to drop head specification. The work as one would expect from John May was performed extremely well. The finished body shell in British Racing Green was mated to the original engine which was built by renowned XK race engine specialist Les Trafford. The engine was installed together with an up rated all synchro overdrive gearbox to make a most attractive specification. Power steering. up rated brakes and alternator conversion were added.

The trim was finish by Suffolk and Turley in beige leather with C Type bucket seats. The car was finished off with body coloured wire wheels to make this XK 'the one to have' of any XK.

Used extensively over the past 15 years the car comes for sale as the owner is emigrating and retiring to live in Australia.

The car has been continuously maintained by Guy Broad and as such has given endless hours of enjoyable driving. On the button and ready to go 8895WW can be pressed immediately into use. However over 15 years some minor paint blemishes have developed that may make this car the subject of a small winter project for a new owner. A small amount of bodywork and a fresh coat of British Racing Green paint and a few small trim jobs would make this car absolutely awesome and ready to go anywhere come the spring.

Supplied with extensive detailed history and full photographic detail of the initial build Guy Broad has recommended the car be insured for 130K for insurance purposes. Any remedial work will £ for £ add to that value in at least equal measure. We are seeking offers in the region of 130K. Given recent S derivatives being sold for in excess of £200K and indeed a fixed head 3. 8S for restoration making £125K at H+H auction recently this represents good value for money and a great opportunity for a new owner.

The car is sold with a 12 month major mechanical warranty.
