EXTERIOR
This example is presented in the stunning Le Mans blue paintwork. arguably one of the best colours for the E39 generation M5's. On close inspection there are some expected stone chips to the edge of the bonnet and front bumper. however this M5 still remains in its original factory coat of paint which boasts a beautiful deep metallic shine. Both sills and arches are completely free from corrosion.

The shadow line trim is in excellent order with no bubbling to be found whatsoever (a common issue with the E39's). Both front and rear bumpers are free from any scuffs or damage and all light clusters are clear with no cracks or moisture.

INTERIOR
The black heritage leather seats are in great condition and the leather remains soft to the touch. The driver's seat bolster has very light wear to the surface. however there is no damage to the seat or material itself. The dash. centre console and switch gear all retain a fresh texture and the lacquered wood trim laced throughout the interior is in excellent unmarked condition. The door cards are free from any unsightly scuffs and the armrests show no wear or damage. Black carpet lines the interior floor. protected in the foot-wells by a set of black over-mats.

The boot area is clean and tidy. housing the CD changer and BMW tool kit.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
With a fully stamped service history. the majority of which were carried out by BMW main dealers and a recent oil change with ourselves. this M5 is in excellent mechanical order and is ready to be enjoyed by the next owner.

The 6 speed manual gearbox feels smooth and precise. pulling through each gear with ease.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The 18" alloy wheels have recently been refurbished at Lepsons and remain in pristine condition with all the badges present and correct. The wheels are shod in a matching set of quality Michelin Pilot Sport tyres that all have plenty of tread remaining.

The brakes are all in good order. pulling the car to a standstill quickly and smoothly. The last brake fluid change was carried out in 2013 at 73k miles.

HISTORY FILE
The M5 was first registered in May 1999 and had its running-in check at 1. 87 miles. The service booklet contains 12 stamps. 11 of which are with BMW main dealers. the most recent oil change was carried out by ourselves in August at 74k miles.

Within the history file there are many invoices to back up the service work. as well as a collection of old MOT certificates to help verify the mileage. The original BMW document holder is present. containing all the owner's manuals and booklets.
