1955 Cadillac Coupe DeVille Resto-Mod

Classic car with nostalgic look and new car feel. all new technology. The original frame with suspension modifications to strengthen the frame was used. It has been blasted and powdercoated. The front and rear independent suspension was taken off a 2007 Cadillac CTS-V with 49k miles. new coil-over adjustable shocks were used instead of standard gas shocks. The LS-2 motor with matching 6-speed was mated to the 55 frame.

Open the hood and it looks like this car came from the factory. Everything fits and all OEM Cadillac parts were used. The dash from the CTS-V was used and bolted on to the new firewall. The entire wire harness with CTS-V computers was used. The computer was also re-flashed. The car has all new clutch. transmission. pressure plate. brakes. belts. and hoses. Custom made 20" wheels from CCW of Daytona FL with new Pirelli tires.

Remember. the fit and finish of the car is from 1955.  The windows are all new glass with original motors. The windows work best when the car is running. All felts are new and after market(continued use with make these windows work faster as the felt loosens up). All new rubber weatherstripping needs to be broken in as well.

All bumpers and grill are original and have been re-plated. Exhaust is 2. 5" stainless steel Borla. Underneath is as clean as the top with painted under chassis to match top.  The gas cap is under the passenger tail light. this was moved from the factory drivers side to accommodate the CTS-V gas tank.  This car has less than 200 miles since build date and was driven 100 miles at 65mph for testing. The car performed without any hitch and even performed at 18. 5 MPG.
