1966 Ford Falcon 2-Door…8230 Original Miles!!!
Has been certified by dealer
Last chance up for auction as I'll be going away overseas for a bit. Price drop low reserve True survivor car. barn find. unrestored. unmolested all original won't see another one like it. As people have quoted Looks like it was restored but hasn't been touched.
Msg for more pics or info but please come take a look as photos do no justice to this car at all
Appraised value by Shannon's

Positives:

This car would easily win "unrestored classic" in most any car show

The fluids appear clear including antifreeze. brake. and oil. It has a newer oil filter and the water pump is not painted so it may have been replaced. The engine does not smoke or make any noise. It brakes firm and runs cool. You could just jump straight in and take it for long drive or a short cruise

You are basically looking at a car that looks and behaves like a 6 month old car in 1966. It starts. runs. steers. stops. shifts. opens. closes. rides. and drives like new…it really is unbelievable. Please come along for a test ride it would be my pleasure

All body lines are perfect with no perceptible door drop or hinge wear on hood or boot. Both doors. boot. hood. and fuel tank access door open properly and close solidly.

The interior and boot look like the day the car was delivered. amazing!!

The engine still has wax pen inspection marks from assembly line.

True desert southwest rust-free time capsule…look at the pictures…this is a one of a kind car.

Stored indoors and/or under car port cover its entire life.

This is a true survivor. two owner. vehicle…everything works as it should!
Absolutely everything works as original

The car was used to drive around the lot of a hotel complex by the owner of the hotel…was not on open road since it was moved from Texas to New Mexico in 1990s

170 Cubic Inch 6-cylinder with 3 speed manual transmission on the steering column.
Shift linkages work like new still

All body and window rubbers still soft like new

Radio Delete option block off plate.

Never smoked in…still has original lighter delete plug in dash and ash tray is clean.

Not a single rip. tear. or crack in the interior…all vinyl pieces are still soft and supple and all original. it's hard to believe.

Original dash is pristine.

Original seats are pristine.

Original headliner is pristine.

Original boot liner is pristine.

Original floor liner is pristine.

Original door panels are pristine.

Original chrome is pristine …not a single pit other than scratch under driver headlight.

Original hubcaps and rims are pristine.

Even has one original head light bulb.

All original glass is clear and chip free.

Original spare tire was never removed when I received it but the bloke who done the blueslip thought he was doing me a favour and put it on so it would pass rego and I didn't realise and clocked about 80ks on it spewin

Tyres have since been replaced with white wall radials to be safe on the roads but I still have 2 of the originals that were on there

Hoses appear to be original as does belt.

The rear seat belts have never been unwrapped from the factory but when it come through customs they removed the plastic off them spewin. Rear seat never sat on maybe just conceived on

Original weather stripping is still soft and supple with no major spits or tears.

Never wrecked.

Original owner's manual.

Everything works like new.

No rust whatsoever…just red clay dust on frame rails from parking lot in Santa Fe.

I added zinc supplement to oil and lead additive to gas before driving.

Negatives:

Paint scratch about 20 inches long on passenger rear quarter panel…no panel damage…just paint scratch. Again. I think it would be a mistake to repair it and it does not detract from the rest of car. Mark on roof. A few small marks around car but no dents. all been brush touched

. Minor chips from road use and thin on sharp edges from washing over the years. again. I am being very picky and this does not distract from its overall

Mirrors not original as I had to put an extra one on for rego but I still have original

Rear louvre not original. br>
This thing drives beautiful dead set nicest old car I've seen it driven

It would be a shame but you could mock it up as s 2 door xw or xy gt falcon but this car is what it is and would be best left as is to the right owner. You would be hard pressed to find another car this original but still in this usable condition. and as Shannon's said the value will automatically go up each year.
