EXTERIOR
This 635 is finished in the beautiful Royal blue metallic paintwork. After 2 days in our detailing bay the paintwork boasts a wonderful deep shine and a sharp metallic flake. There are very few stone chips evident for a car of this vintage and the chrome work remains in fine fettle. with no pitting or damage. Having always been garaged in a dry climate there is no evidence of corrosion to be found whatsoever. all of the wheel arches and sills remain in excellent order.

INTERIOR
The interior of this 635 is spec'd with the rare Buffalo leather option. a harder wearing grainier leather which really helps set this example apart. Both front and rear seats are in excellent condition with no major wear or damage to any of the bolsters or seat bases. The Buffalo leather also extends to the door cards. both of which are in fine order. Having been garaged for most of its life. surfaces such as the dashboard and centre console all retain a crisp. textured finish with no cracks or fading to be found. All of the switch gear is free from any wear and operates exactly as it should. This example has been equipped with the rear console and A/C unit from new.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
With the original Japanese stamped service booklet still present it is evident that despite its low mileage of 43k miles. this 635 is in fine mechanical order. The legendary M30 engine fires into life at the first turn of the key and idles up to temperature correctly with a familiar inline 6 engine note. The 4 speed automatic gearbox still feels solid and precise to operate. pulling through the gears with ease and handling the engines power perfectly.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The 15" X-spoke alloy wheels have recently been refurbished and fitted with new centre caps. as such they are all in perfect un-marked condition. The wheels are shod in a matching set of correct Michelin TRX tyres. all of which have plenty of tread remaining. The brakes feel strong and confident bringing the car to a standstill quickly and smoothly.

HISTORY FILE
The 635 was first registered in Japan in 1986. where it remained garaged and maintained for the majority of its life. Having recently been imported to the UK it has a current MOT certificate with no advisory items to report.

In the history file you will find the original BMW document holder. containing the japanese service booklet which has been stamped 11 times. the last being done at 65. 81km. various manuals information for the Sony stereo. D changer and rear air-conditioning unit.
