You are bidding on a 55 Chevy sedan delivery GasserI purchased the 55 as a non running project. previous owner Passed away. it sat for 3 years. not running . 55 drivetrain was all rebuilt and many New parts. engine was rebuilt. Transmission was Brand new. 9 inch diff was also rebuilt468 Bigblock Chev. Merlin cast iron Heads(new). High lift hydraulic cam. Demon double pumper carb Garlits cast aluminum Fake Stagger stack injection unit                                                   Moroso SFI harmonic balancer. Richmond 6 speed Overdrive transmission with Long racing shifter . scatter shield. Centerforce clutch. Hurst LineLoc. Big tube Fenderwell headers. 3 inch exhaust with Polished Dynomax stainless 3 inch in and out Mufflers. Ford 9 inch diff. 5. 13 gears. Strange spool. Dutchmen axles. dual web centersection. drum brakes front and rear. RCI 20 gallon plastic fuel cell. br>Body  Original 55 Chevy Sedan delivery. ear quarter panels have been mildly flared. there is some body filler. body is nice and straight for the most part . paint is a pale orange . uits Delivery. Fiberglass frontend. with glass front bumper. steel rear bumper. steel doors and hatch. New windshield . headlights. taillights and signals all work. plastic racing seats. 6 point rollbar. 15x12 Crager Supertricks with 29x12. 50x15 Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pro's on the rear 60% left. front's are 15x4. 5 American Racing unpolished with 26x7. 50x15 Mickey Thompson Sportman's almost new. 55 Chevy as I was told by son of Builder . that his father spent over $35. 00 building the 55. they drove it abit on the street and took it to the Nostalgia drags and made less than 10 1/4 mile passes . I didn't get any information on how fast . Engine is supposed to be producing around 650 HP. It runs Very strong and it drives like its making Lots of Power!
55 Has Valid registration in my name with Clear Title. It could either be street driven or a Racecar. our choice or both?
Previous owner put too big of rear slicks on 55 and slicks grew and damaged passenger wheelwell at lower front of right wheelwell. it will be sold in this auction as it sits. . there are some chips here and there . but 55 presents it self well as a Nasty looking Gasser!I did not build this 55 Chevy  and only know what I have found as I worked on 55 this past 6 months. It is sold as is and I will try to answer any and all questions as best as possible. the 55 Runs Very strong and drives as a Straight Axle car does. . I believe Straight Axle is out of an Econoline van. but not sure. Axle is nicely installed. nbsp;If 55 doesn't sell in this auction . I will have passenger quarter panel repaired and repainted and relist at a higher price. nbsp;I will be glad to answer any and all questions about the 55 . feel free to contact me for more pictures.
