In a continuation of Lamborghini's tradition of naming its cars
after stars from the world of bullfighting. the Murciélago is named
for a fighting bull that survived 24 sword strokes in an 1879 fight
against Rafael "El Lagartijo" Molina Sánchez. Murciélago fought
with such passion and spirit that the matador chose to spare its
life. a rare honour. The bull was later presented as a gift to Don
Antonio Miura. a noted local breeder; thus began the famed Miura
line of fighting bulls and the name for one of Lamborghini's
greatest designs.

The Murciélago needs little introduction. a supercar built by
the famous Italian constructor between 2001 and 2010. Successor to
the Diablo and flagship of the maker's line-up. What sets this
particular example aside however is the treatment it has undergone
by Prindiville. an aftermarket design specialist. Prindiville
specialises in creating bespoke cars to an individual clients
precise specifications. Nothing is off-limits. from the interior
trim to external aerodynamics and from in-car entertainment to
performance modifications.

Originally recorded as a category C insurance loss (damaged but
repairable). it was re-painted in its current pearlescent white and
represents car number one of only five individually numbered
vehicles made worldwide by the renowned tuning house. with '001'
the only remaining vehicle still in Europe. Prindiville then
added a new lightweight carbon fibre front/rear bumpers. side
skirts. air vents. rear section and carbon fibre roof incorporating
an 'air-flow' system. The engine benefits from a performance
upgrade and the exhaust is a stainless steel modified high
performance unit. The doors are now 'handle-less' with remote
opening and 360° external camera coverage. The interior now also
benefits from a bespoke re-trim with interior 'Jewellery Pack' in
high-grade precision milled aluminium. To accompany the
extraordinary exhaust tone. a 1. 00 watt in-car entertainment
(TV/DVD/ Satellite navigation/security tracking infotainment system
and rear parking sensors) system is fitted.

This Prindiville Lamborghini Murciélago is a limited edition
collector's car and also benefits from a recent full service from
marque specialists. John McGurk. as well as a full MoT test
certificate valid for twelve months.
