Current customer rating: (624 votes ) based onUp for auction is my 1950 Mercury. this is a full fiberglass car that includes a 6" chop. front fenders and grill section molded as one. channeled. shaved. decked. louvered hood andfrenched headlights & titled as a 1950 Mercury. The body includes hand-crafted fiberglass laminate featuring: hand laid layers of fiberglass. durable gelcoat surface and an inner core. providing high strength and superior surface quality. All high stress areas are reinforced with heavy woven roving [woven strands fiberglass at 90 degrees. used in most boat manufacturing] providing the strongest most durable body in the industry. It sits on an Art Morrison designed chassis with the following specs (Pictured below) -
- Frame rails are mig and tig welded for superior strength and durability
- 118" wheel base
- Main rails and K member are fabricated from 5" x 2" 3/16" wall tubing
- K member is designed for ease of routing exhaust with 3" exhaust holes installed.
- Front cross member is setup for stock or tubular Mustang II front suspension and is formed from 3/16" cold finished mild steel with all mounting point for upper and lower control arms and rack and pinion steering precisely located with custom fixtures.
- Rear cross member is constructed from 2" x 2" square tubing. Outriggers are drilled to match existing holes in floor and inside steel.

- Block sanded epoxy sealed. primed and painted Synergy Green w/ pearl white scallops
- 1950 Lincoln tail lights
- 1953 Chevy grille (center section)
