1990 Daimler Double Six. from a private collection. low mileage. extensive service history

This is one of 3 cars which we acquired through a very well known and respected car collector and is one of the last series III V12 Daimlers produced. The vehicle is magnificent throughout and has covered just 23. 00 miles with extensive service history detailing previous maintenance at 9982. 11642. 14532. 18140. 19862 and 22813 miles.

The service records are far too extensive to list but demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in the upkeep of this stunning vehicle. The work includes new air con compressor/receiver. fuel pump. both fuel tanks. fuel pressure regulator. fuel injectors. 4 new Pirelli tyres - replaced due to age rather than mileage. new brake discs/pads. brake lines replaced with braided hoses. HT leads. spark plugs ( twice ! ). new springs and shock absorbers. suspension bushes. steering bushes. radius arm bushes. anti roll bar bushes. wheel bearings. powr lok differential reconditioned. door seals. windscreen and rear screen seals replaced etc etc. This car has very obviously been the collectors pride and joy and been maintained with no regard to expense. having work done which was quite obviously not needed in the owners quest for perfection. In addition to a large collection of invoices for work carried out we also have a Jaguar Heritage Certificate.

The car was to feature in a prominent classic car auction earlier this year with a reserve of £15. 00 but was withdrawn at the last minute. together with a Jaguar V12 Sovereign and Rolls Royce Silver Spirit which we also purchased from the same source. We are lead to believe this is a very well known car in the Jaguar world and there was significant interest in the vehicle last time it became available for sale.

This vehicle is just as good underneath as it is on top - pictures of the underside to follow shortly - an invoice for the underside being treated to Waxoyl further demonstrates the attention to detail. When we collected the car the Oil was so clean you would think the engine had never been started. The return journey consisted of flowing A roads and a long motorway run and the car was a total joy. the V12 engine completely inaudible but very responsive and providing the car with an effortless turn of pace. cruising serenely on the motorway home. This is the kind of car that makes any journey seem too short !

Finished in Tungsten Grey metallic with Doeskin hide complimented by fawn carpets which are protected by plush lambswool over rugs. it goes without saying there is minimal signs of use and the car drives exactly as new.

Period specification to include leather upholstery. electric seat height adjustment. climate control air conditioning. cruise control. Kenwood stereo with boot mounted CD changer. central locking. electric windows front and rear. electric mirrors. fog lamps. trip and fuel computer. Kent style 15 inch alloys with fresh Pirelli P400 Super Touring tyres all round. full size spare wheel etc. The original tool kit is all present and correct. Steering wheel adjusts for reach.

Supplied with all original keys. original book pack containing owners manuals. fully stamped service book etc.

The car will come fully prepared in our own workshops. current MOT is January 2015. but we would happily supply a new MOT if required. Interesting part exchange considered.

The car is an enthusiasts dream. among the last made and with very low mileage and huge expenditure by the previous owner. ready to jump in and enjoy. it will be impossible to replace.
