Current customer rating: (93 votes) based on
Alot of time and effort has been spent . lso the anount spent if you were to include labour would outway the price of the car. The colour combo looks great and with the wheels etc make it stand out a little in a crowd . The car is on the button with everything working and ready to show and enjoy .
Engine & Transmission
Not a matching number car . The early engine has had a full rebuild and all parts replaced as seen fit by a specialist and is running superb. All ancillaries were also replaced or refurbed as needed. Also at the same time a fully reconditioned gearbox and a reconditioned overdrive unit were installed . It has had a new radiator and many ancilleries including new batteries. starter motor etc etc The engine bay is detailed throughout and looks stunning. During the nut and bolt rebuild the car was put on a rottiserie and is fully painted underneath . Again it is in superb order.
Wheels. Tyres & Brakes
The car orginally came with steel wheels and trims . During the restoration it has been treated to a brand new set of Oyster coloured Minilites and a brand new set of radials. These really suit the car and make it stand out in a crowd.
The Old English paintwork looks brilliant with the contrast of the new Oxblood hood. There are no paint issues at all. This car has had a total bare shell paint including being on a rottiserie to paint the underneath . The car has not seen rain since being done. Any panels with rust have been replace for new. The brightwork is all A1 . The bumpers etc are all new . The car presents very well and its combination really works. The oxblood roof is brand new.
Interior & Equipment
The Oxblood red interior is superb . All new carpets. oor cards. eat trims. The dashboard has been reconditioned. . It has a woodrimmed steering wheel .
