~*~ Item Description: ~*~

I have for sale a very rare and hard to find All Original 1937 Ford Stake-Side pickup.    The history as I was told; was originally purchase by a school in California and the last owner was attending the school when it was purchased.   Later his cousin purchased it from the school and then he got it from his cousin.   He has had it for last 40-50 years as to my understanding.   It has been parked in a storage unit and or under shelter for many years.   The engine was rebuilt 2009 and driven about 100 miles and then parked as the owner became sick and passed away.   So for the past several years in has been parked.   It seems that he was about to restore it completely (going by all the parts in the back of it) before he got sick.   The wife has just now decided to depart with it.   I personally have been involved with starting it up and driving it.

Truck is currently tagged (commercial) and insured and always has been!

I have so many extra's that you will be very surprised and happy to have included in this deal.   I have found only one truck like this one that has been fully restored to factory standards and it value is $75K and most antiques are turned into rat-rods etc. which only makes them cool to look at but no real value.   It has a box of tags and the set on top is dated 1956.   It has another block (85hp) in the back of the truck along with thousands of dollars in other parts. Lights. wiring harness. engine parts. another radiator. carburetor and even a new in box fuel tank.   I have lots of books and other parts. too much to inventory and list.   It has cases of ND-oil and gas additive too!

This truck in in great condition for its age and is not full of rust.   Look around and try to find any car/truck from this era that is anywhere near the condition of this baby!

THIS TRUCK CRANKS AND WILL DRIVE NOW! But I highly recommend that you first go over the brakes and tune it up!

History:  All 1937 pickups had a V-8 engine -- along with the appropriate badge on the side of the hood -- but newly offered that year was a 136-cubic-inch 60-horsepower version that promised better fuel economy than its bigger 221-cid 85-hp brother.

1/2 ton pick up with a factory platform stake bed.   A very rare model.   Same owner for the last 30 years. - See more at: http://blog. hemmings. com/index. php/2010/11/26/hemmings-find-of-the-day-1937-ford-stakebed/#sthash. xo6v8YeL. JEnIsnYy. dpuf

It's easy to assume that any stake-bed pickup nowadays uses a homebuilt or aftermarket bed. but look closer at this 1937 Ford 1/2-ton stake-bed. and you'll see that the platform is actually incorporated into the fenders. That's because. starting that year. Ford did indeed offer stake and platform-bed pickups from the factory. with the platforms set at loading dock heights. - See more at: http://blog. hemmings. com/index. php/2010/11/26/hemmings-find-of-the-day-1937-ford-stakebed/#sthash. xo6v8YeL. dpuf

Please contact me with any questions.   I am asking 25K but I welcome reasonable offers and may take something in trade along with some cash.   Please email or call me at (805-868-0531 with your offer and requests.   I have all the paperwork.

~*~ Thanks again for looking at my items for sale and may peace be with you. ~*~
