Hi. /p>

This is a JAGUAR XJ12 VANDEN PLAS - 1988.   Please note that the mileage is in kilometers so 150 000 Km = 93 750 Miles Approx.

I am the second owner of the car.   The car features:

- Beige Leather seats. /p>

- Seats are in good condition. no tears. /p>

- Everything works except for Cruise control. /p>

- 2 locking gaz tanks (Premium unleaded only). /p>

- Wippers on front lights. /p>

- Open roof. /p>

- AC has been converted to new format. /p>

- Momo stearing Wheel. /p>

- New front suspension (June 2014). /p>

- new alternator and battery (June 2014). /p>

- And much more.

The car has valid registration (Québec. Canada) and can be driven as is anywhere in North America.

The electric antenna is disconnected because I was tired of wipping it clean after each use.   It does work (if replugged).   I get my radio stations anyway.

The rear passenger door is unplugged as it didn't always locks.   It does work if replugged most of the time.

The cruise control doesn't work.   Can be a fuse but I don't know and I don't miss it one bit.

The car is currently located in Montréal. Québec. Canada.   All shipping arrangements and related costs will be the responsability of the buyer.   The car can be picked up locally if preferred.

Feel free to ask any questions.

All parts are Jaguar parts and are original to the car.   The radio is new (with cd player) but the original radio is in the trunk and still works.

Thanks.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

I get a lot of questions about fees and régulations on bringing this car to the States.   So here is what I could gather from a few clicks in Google:

- US EPA régulations are very strict but do not apply to this car since it's more than 26 years old;

- Should you go through a broker to import the car. a fee will be charged by the broker.   Please contact your local auto club or broker for more détails on this;

- The cheaper way to get the car in the States is to drive it over the border.   You will pay a 2. 5% fee on the Blue Book value of the car which would be next to nothing because the car is 26 year old!

Hope this helps as it is not easy for me to ensure comprehension of all US related laws and régulations and I am not a US Citizen.   The buyer is still responsible to ensure compliance and pay for all costs notwithstanding the previous note.   Thanks.

Question I had from a previous listing:

Q:

Just wanted to say. this appears to be a very nice example of one of these cars. Thought I would let you in on a little trivia: The series III ( nicest Jag sedans ever made ) Jaguars were discontinued after 1987. except for the Canadian market ! Made in V12 only after that. due to popularity of the style. they were available on special order. from 1988-1992. Quite frankly. the newer one you get. the better the car. You're lucky to have that one. Other trivia. The XJ12 was not available in the American market after about 1981. That's why you always hear "XJ6 this". XJ6 that". We in Canada. had the V12's. and they ARE better. Maintained. typically go 400. 00 KM. The 6 ? . spent after 200. 00. I have a couple of these already. and a 77 XJ12C. I hope you get your money for it. or better yet. keep it. There's NOTHING today that even Jaguar offers. that compares to a late model series III V12 car. Aubrey in Alberta
