I have decided it is time for something new. so I am selling my 1971 MGB V8 Roadster

I have spent a fortune on this car over the last 7 years that I have owned it.

It has an MG Owners Club agreed valuation of £15. 00 (I wish that was all I had spent on it!!)

I started off by having the car stripped back to a bare shell. any rust found was cut out and replaced with good metal. The rear inner arches and outer panels were replaced with new heritage panals. as were the doors and the front wings. Thankfully the sills were solid. as were the floors and inner wings.

I then had the car repainted in Pale Primrose Yellow. The car was then rebuilt as a standard 1971 roadster with the addition of early rear lights. ( I liked the look of them better ). poly bushes. vented discs on the front. and spax gas shocks all round. New carpets and door cards were fitted along with a pair of restored early bucket seats and a new wiring loom.

I drove the car for a year like this then decided that I wanted more. so took the car back to the MG Specialists and asked them to convert it to a V8 with a 5 speed gearbox. At the same time I had an MGC bonnet fitted. again because I liked the look and new 15 inch painted wire wheels. (easier to keep clean than the chrome ones). These filled the arches better as well and allowed slightly wider tyres to be fitted.

As you can see from the picture. I had a new edelbrock carb fitted with a TWR low rider inlet manifold. block hugger exhaust manifolds and a custom made stainless twin exhaust made by Longlife. fitted. This makes the car sound awesome. I also had the rev counter professionaly converted to 8 cylinder

I have decided to sell the car as I only did 33 miles in it last year due to too many other commitments. I would however be interested in a swap for an early VW camper low light.
