This is a beautiful. museum-quality example of a very rare. hard to find car and it is. perhaps. the only one left in existence in this condition.

This is one of the nicest examples of it's kind available anywhere. perhaps the nicest one in the world. a beautiful and very rare vehicle that is absolutely as nice underneath as it is on top. If you ever wished you could have walked into a Chevrolet dealership 25 or 30 years ago and purchased a brand-new 9C1 Caprice. here is your chance to come as close as you will ever get to doing so. If you are searching for the ultimate in collectible police cars. here you go.

This car was ordered new by a Chevrolet dealer and placed into his personal collection with assorted Corvettes. Camaros and other performance Chevrolets. It was sold to another collector several years ago (a retired Police Officer) and was enjoyed only on nice weather days. It has been kept in a climate-controlled garage it's entire life and has never been molested. driven hard or modified in any way. shape or form. It is still riding on the original Good Year Eagle GT tires which are in amazingly good condition for their age and show very little wear. Nearly everything is original. even the spark plus and wires. The only thing that has been replaced. to my knowledge. was the battery. A correct AC-Delco replacement is in place to retain originality.

Everything works. including the ice-cold air conditioning. It starts. runs. drives and stops as you would expect a brand-new car to. It is tight. firm. solid and fast. a virtual time capsule and. based on the rarity of these cars. likely the only one in the world that has been preserved to this extent.

The finish is excellent and this vehicle has an absolutely spotless Carfax and AutoCheck report. It has never been involved in any accidents. It is in beautiful condition in every regard.

This car has never had decals. equipment or antennas installed anywhere. It has no holes drilled anywhere and has never been in police service.

It is loaded with options. including all of the things you would expect. dual "police only" remote mirrors. power windows. power locks. power trunk release. tilt steering wheel. factory auxiliary police dome lamp. optional police package auxiliary gauge package. factory Unity driver's side spot lamp. factory AM/FM stereo. cloth front split-bench seat. and a Posi-Traction rear differential (code G80). These items. of course. are just the beginning of the list of equipment on this car.

In my years of buying and selling police vehicles. I have never had another of these that was preserved as this car has been. It has NEVER been smoked in. looks as close to new as you will find. and has zero wear on the interior. even on the seating. This car still smells like a brand-new car inside. and that is not an exaggeration. Please note. the original. rubber flooring is in MINT condition. Floor mats have been placed in the car every time it has been driven. The floors are natural black rubber. I did NOT. nor have they ever. had any Armor All or silicone sprayed on them to make them appear shiny or "more black". It is as delivered from the factory. and like new. The headliner is like new as well.

It is finished in the factory White finish with Dark Blue interior. The exterior is beautiful and. as stated. the interior shows zero wear. It has been extremely well-maintained and it runs. drives and handles as close to new as you will ever find. It has never been abused and it looks gorgeous inside. outside and underneath.   

The trunk compartment is like new. extremely clean. and the original. Good Year Eagle GT full size spare tire is in place.

This unit is also equipped with. of course. the full 9C1 Police Package which includes the 5. 7-liter H. O. (350 cubic-inch) engine. 4-speed overdrive heavy-duty transmission. 3. 08 ratio rear axle w/ Posi-Traction (code G80) differential. original optional green silicone "lifetime" hoses. original Good Year Eagle GT 225-70-15 police-spec. ultra-high performance radials mounted on the factory. heavy-duty. 15" police wheels with full. factory deluxe wheel covers. special police-spec heavy-duty frame. heavy-duty police-spec disc brakes. severe-duty suspension. heavy-duty cooling. certified 125-mph speedometer. optional "police" auxiliary gauge package (with relocated cigarette lighter) and much. much more.

This car is gorgeous inside and out and is spotless under the hood as well. the engine compartment is very nice (please see the pictures). I do not slather motors with Armor All to make them appear nicer. or newer. than they are. The picture of this engine compartment is exactly as it was when the car was purchased. it is showroom new. and extremely clean.

These are the Caprices aficionados lust after. and this is an unmolested example. It is very responsive. smooth-shifting and. of course. very fast.  

This is a factory. all white car. The paint is 110% original and as close to flawless as you will ever find. It is not a re-painted color change like you will see for sale elsewhere.

This rare find is in absolutely gorgeous condition overall condition. has been very well-maintained and has little to none of the normal wear and tear you would expect to find on a used vehicle. let alone a used police vehicle. This vehicle. as most used vehicles do. may have imperfections. this typically includes; scratches. chips. nicks. minute flaws. etc. that being said. this car has no known mechanical defects and it runs and drives as close to new as we have ever seen. Please. keep in mind. we strive to find the nicest used vehicles possible. but they are still used vehicles.  

This car drives as close to new as you will ever find. It is a very nice driving. tight unit. not a beat-up police car. It has never been used for any type of police or patrol work and has been collector owned and garage kept since new.

Because of increasing expenses in every regard. we have been forced to raise our fees by $50. this is the first time in ten years that we have done this. so hopefully you will understand. There will be a $175 documentation fee and a $15 title fee added to each sale. these will be the ONLY additional fees you will be responsible for. unless you reside in the state of Ohio. in which case you will need to pay the proper amount of sales tax. based on the current rate for the county in which you reside. Temporary 30-day plate and registration is also available for $18. 50. We do not charge any additional fees and there are no hidden charges. Most sellers are charging double this amount currently.
