Registered new on 1st March 1978 and supplied by Jaguar Main Dealers Henlys Ltd of Central London. this beautiful example has enjoyed a cherished and cosseted existence and covered just 71. 65 miles from new. A complete professional restoration throughout 2005/06 was commissioned by the previous keeper Mr Seggie to reputable Mr M J Dearing of Classic Vehicle Restoration Specialist in Lincolnshire. A disc containing photographs taken throughout the stages of the restoration offer an insight to the quality and extent of the work undertaken. On the passing of Mr Seggie in 2013. his wife returned the vehicle to the restorer to undertake service and maintenance work. evidenced by an invoice for £1. 92 dated June 2013.
