A sumptuous. luxurious and spotlessly clean Biscuit leather interior is complemented by hand matched walnut facia and is simply exquisite. ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The exceptional in-line six cylinder well proven XK 4. 2 litre engine produces 245bhp and offers effortless reserves of performance. A full and expensive stainless exhaust system has been fitted giving wonderful exhaust note on full throttle. A discreet and accepted mechanical improvement includes a manual choke conversion. The Borg-Warner 3-speed automatic model 65 transmission is beautifully matched to the XK engine giving the perfect driving combination.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The chrome faced 15inch steel wheels have chrome Jaguar hub-caps with growler badges and are standard fitments finishing the striking exterior impact of the vehicle. Four Pirelli P4000 205/70 R15 tyres have masses of tread remaining. The matching spare wheel and original jack are housed correctly underneath the boot floor. Servo-assisted disc brakes all-round with ventilated discs at the front and separate hydraulic circuits offer incredible stopping power. Umbrella handbrake system holds the car.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on 1st March 1978 and supplied by Jaguar Main Dealers Henlys Ltd of Central London. this beautiful example has enjoyed a cherished and cosseted existence and covered just 71. 65 miles from new. A complete professional restoration throughout 2005/06 was commissioned by the previous keeper Mr Seggie to reputable Mr M J Dearing of Classic Vehicle Restoration Specialist in Lincolnshire. A disc containing photographs taken throughout the stages of the restoration offer an insight to the quality and extent of the work undertaken. On the passing of Mr Seggie in 2013. his wife returned the vehicle to the restorer to undertake service and maintenance work. evidenced by an invoice for £1. 92 dated June 2013. The history file consists of all original handbooks. guides and dealership literature housed in the dark green A5 folder as well as many previous MOT certificates to help substantiate the mileage.

Now being offered on the market due to little use. the vehicle presents itself as a stunning but useable show car with mechanical piece of mind allowing the next lucky owner to concentrate purely on classic motoring enjoyment!
