Shelby, GT500, Eleanor, Fastback, Mustang for sale
Current customer rating: (194 votes ) based onThe car has a clear and clean title in my name ready to go. Only 48 miles on the car since being built!
Body and Paint: The car is in fantastic condition for its age and recently underwent a full restoration. ***I would not consider this a show car. nbsp;there are some minor paint chips and a few small dings that wont show on the pictures*** The car was originally dark moss green when built and repainted the same color approximately a year ago. I would consider the paint to be a great driver quality. ***The trunk lid is not original. the previous owner installed a dynacorn replacement. *** The previous owner had Shelby side scoops and rear deck lid parts installed but they have been removed. Having said that. nbsp;there is a small hole on the left side 1/4 panel for mounting the lower scoop. it will need to be repaired.
Brakes and Drivetrain: The car has four wheel disc brakes which are all brand new along with new stainless steel braided lines. The rotors are slotted and cross drilled with ceramic brake pads. The calipers were also rebuilt and a new master cylinder and booster were installed. Front suspension was completely redone with all new parts to include koni shocks. Flaming River steering box and billet tilt column. The rear suspension has new rear springs and bushings with koni shocks. ***I will also include a rear sway set up for the car. not currently installed*** The car has a Ford 9 inch rear with a posi unit and 4. 10 gears. The entire rear was rebuilt with new axle bearings and seals.
Exhaust: Brand new full length (Long tubes) ceramic coated headers with pypes true dual stainless steel exhaust system and mufflers.
Interior: The interior has been completely redone with new front and rear seats. headliner. door panels. carpet and trim pieces. Additionally. the car has full Phantom Auto meter gauges. looks great! ***Also have a factory 4spd floor console (oem) not installed (its in "ok" condition. could use polishing) and deluxe door panels and lights (not installed).
Wheels and Tires: The car has brand new cooper tires and bullet style torque thrust wheels.
Exterior: The car has a rare ribbed tail panel with new sequential LED tail lights. The car also has a new lower dual exhaust panel (needs paint) with new reverse lights and LED bulbs. The floors (which are original). trunk and frame rails have been coated with POR15. There isn't any rust on the car (slight surface rust on a few bolts. I'm picky and want to fully disclose the cars condition) it was a California car originally and has always been garaged kept. The car has a new rear bumper installed and I have a nib front bumper that will go with it. Although the original front bumper is in great condition.
Full disclaimer ***The paint on the trunk lid and deck lid extensions is not great. I would have it re-sprayed to fully match the rest of the car. I recently bought a new Scott Drake shifter bezel and leather shift boot that I haven't fully installed yet. I will try to install it this weekend. The car is complete and drivable but needs a few fine details such as the right speedo gear. its registering high due to the gear swap. a new 4. 10 speedo tooth is 20 dollars. I will try and order one and install it before pick up***No expense was spare in this restomod project. I hate to see it go. but I have a new baby on the way and need to downsize. I have many other parts that will go with the car. the car will make an excellent candidate for a Shelby or Eleanor clone. (I also just order a set of Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads that can be included for an additional fee. Additionally. I have a roller 351w f4te short block [unassembled] ready to be built. If I were to keep it. I was planning on installing the 351w and TFS heads).
Feel free to ask any questions and I encourage the potential buyer to have the car inspected or seen in person. There is no warranty. car is being sold AS IS.
Buyer is responsible for shipping. however. I will help in any way I can. On Jul-16-14 at 16:25:50 PDT. seller added the following information:
My reserve has been met. so please. only bid if you are going to buy it and have the funds available. I've already had to retract one bid due to an honest mistake. If you have zero feeback. please contact me first. Lastly. I have had several people ask me what my "buy it now" price is. I have a number in mind. make me an offer to end the auction early and I'll let you know. worse I can say is no. Thanks for your interest and happy bidding.
