Here's an opportunity to own a rare 1927 Packard Duel Windshield Touring Model 426. This is a totally restored very original Packard. It is restored to factory original condition. The canvas top has no tears or stains. The leather interior is in excellent condition. All the gauges work except for the fuel gauge. The original clock is an eight-day wind up that works. The original lighter is in place and works. The original  vacuum wiper works. The mechanical brakes and emergency brake work as new. The suspension oiling system is in tack and works. The original stabilators are in place and work. This Packard has been totally rewired to factory specifications. All the lights(they are the originals) work. The gas tank. fuel line. fuel vacuum system and carburetor are all clean and in working order. The 3-speed transmission and new single-disc clutch operate as new. The 126in. wheel base is carried on the original six-bolt disc wheels. The motor meter(works) and mascot are the original.

This Forth Series Six was introduced on August 2. 1926. The Fifth Series Packard Six was the last in production until the 110 Series in 1937. It is rated at 81HP. This Packard Six has been totally rebuilt(finished last year) and has less than 500 miles on it. It is the original specified engine and is in concours condition. It is restored to factory condition. It idols and runs effortlessly. It maintains a constant running temperature. The radiator(restored with the engine) has been totally rebuilt to original specifications. There is a factory original thermostat installed.

We have owned this Packard for several years. It has been driven but continually maintained and stored in a controlled environment. There is no rust nor has there been any. This is the all-steel original body. The paint has no checking but does have a few minor chips. The chrome still looks new. There is no pitting or discoloration. The tires are in great condition - no cracking. Unfortunately it's that old story - health forces us to sell it. I can no longer maintain it and can not drive it for long stretches. It's time for someone else to enjoy it. Here's a wonderful opportunity to own a classic for well under six figures. I've watched EBAY for a long time and this is a rare listing. It comes with an original manual. service manual. many spare parts and a additional (unrestored) Packard Six engine.

Thanks.
