Welcome to my listing for 'Nellie' our convertible Triumph Herald 13/60 made in the UK in 1968. We only bought this car last year and have spent a small fortune on it since but new house purchase and the need to increase our deposit forces sale. She has been great fun and turns heads more than any new 100K+ sports car. The respect these cars have by many different generations was a real surprise to us. especially one looking like this does.
If you require any more pictures. please email me.

Reg #   NEL ***F     worth £500+        more if you are a Nellie. Nel Mcpherson or similar!

New MOT going on before the listing ends.

Ill be as honest as i can in this listing and if you have any questions just email or phone me on 07920 257650. i am far from a expert on classic cars so the best thing is to come and view her.
She is a 1968 Triumph Herald (1296cc) convertible in British Racing Green with a cream stripe. The paint job is 2 pac so stands out beautifully. there are however 2 areas which need attention on the body. 1 on the drivers door picture 1 and one on the front of the bonnet picture 2. Otherwise the body is in good nick and the doors are straight unlike the 4 heralds that we looked at before i bought her. See Pictures. The roof is mohair. currently there are some splits in the PVC windows in the rear but the roof itself is in good condition. if the buy it now is met then ill get this repaired. I have a quote £211. 00 see Pictures. There is a small oil leak from the timing case which i have been told is a gasket so not sinister. this i had planned to do over Christmas but with the weather being so wet i have not yet had the chance to do. i have the gasket set for this to do. She is tax exempt and the insurance is only £96 per year fully comprehensive which really surprised usShe drives like a dream and since the upgrades outlined below is more fun than i ever imagined. she sounds awesome and looks wicked. The catch on the glovebox needs replacing and the wood panel strip on the passenger door has a split. just needs gluing and the drivers seat needs a new sponge thingy underneath so sags a bit. She has a cd/mp3 player fitted under the dash to avoid uneccessary holes in the woodShe has a set of 4 13" Revolution Wheels which look awesome at a cost of over £400She has the original Italian leather steering wheel. a recent (2009) full overhaul of the interior and carpets. it has leather seating in black and there are 2 sets of keysI have replaced the following items since ownership and have the relevant receipts from Canley Classics and Rimmer Brothers. New HT Leads New Sports Gold Coil New Red Rotar Arm inc Spare New Points inc 2 Spares New Condensor inc 2 Spares New Chrome Rocker Cover New Battery New Sports 4in1 Stainless Exhaust Manifold New Sports Stainless Exhaust mid New Twin Stainless Sports Silencer New Twin Inlet Manifold New Twin 4SU Carbs. Linkage. Throttle Peddle Linkage New Twin Chrome Pancake Filters New Chrome Inline Fuel Filter New Tyres x2 Front (200 Miles on them) Full Service Full Dyno Tune and Carb Setup (Graph showing 72bhp) New Front Break Line New Brake/Clutch Piston Gaiters - Not Fitted New Timing Case Gasket Set - Not Fitted New Greenstuff Brake Pads  - Not Fitted New Led Stop Lock for the steering wheel New Tonnaeu Cover Black RHD New Roof Cover Black
You can see that i have spent a whole load of money on this car so other than the minor bits that need sorting all the expensive bits have been sorted. it does come with a custom made herald breathable cover which comes with her along with all the receipts and all the spares i have for her.
I am looking for £5500 for her. nbsp;that's way short of what i paid for her and the investment made on all the upgrades.
Please come and view.     NOTE I WOULD PREFER PAYMENT VIA BANK TRANSFER OR GOOD OLD FASHIONED CASH. IF YOU NEED TO USE PAYPAL PLEASE CONTACT ME FIRST AND MAYBE WE COULD MEET IN THE MIDDLE RE THE FEES!
Happy Bidding.
