Excellent condition. Rust free. Stunning. Needs Nothing

 You are bidding on a beautiful 1973 Triumph TR6. Last year before the rubber bumper over riders. Complete matching numbers car with Heritage Trust Certificate and known history. Carmine Red (code 82) with black interior (11). This is a completely rust free and solid car with 61. 85 original miles.  In 2006 the car underwent a complete nut and bolt. engine out. mechanical restoration that totaled almost $30k. All receipts and records come with the car. Absolutely everything mechanical was addressed whether it needed it or not. Complete engine rebuild. transmission rebuild. rear-end rebuild. All suspension components. brake system. etc.  rebuilt or replaced with factory correct parts.  Suspension updated with all poly bushings. Complete new set of Michelin Red Line tires. Complete exhaust system replaced. All parts were removed including the engine and everything was cleaned. polished. painted to factory specs and reassembled. The engine compartment is concourse quality with great attention to detail. The car has covered less than 2000  miles since the restoration in 2006 and has never been driven in rain or inclement weather. The car has always remained in a climate controlled garage and only taken out occasionally on nice days or to shows.  

At the time of the restoration. the interior was also completely addressed as needed. Complete new wool carpeting. nbsp;under carpet pad and sound insulation. new seats. door caps. door seals. etc. The original dash. top of dash. crash pads. and wood fascia were left original and are in perfect condition. All gauges were removed and cleaned and function perfectly as they should. All lights and switches. ventilation controls. turn signals. etc. work perfectly. The convertible top is brand new and fits tight.   When I got the car. nbsp; the previous owner had never even put the top up.  

The body on the car is completely rust free as is the frame and floors. No rust in any of the usual places. Around headlights. body seams. under doors. etc. Completely solid car. Both doors. trunk lid. engine hood all fit and align perfectly. Doors close tight with no rattles. All glass is in excellent condition and windows roll up and down perfectly. Chrome on the car is in very good condition. The paint on the car is in excellent condition and was re-sprayed at some point prior to the restoration. The body and paint were not addressed at this time as the car simply did not need it. You know that the car is a very clean. solid and rust free example for someone to spend approx. $30K on just mechanical restoration alone.

The restoration was completed by a gentleman and his wife. (names will be provided to new owner). This TR6 was their baby that they enjoyed and took to shows. No expense was spared in  restoring this car. improving it and maintaining it. Shortly after the restoration was completed. unfortunately the husband passed away and the wife sold the car to a collector in Long Island. He purchased the car for his wife for Valentines Day. He and his wife owned the car for approx. 3 years driving it very little. I purchased the TR6 from them and had the car shipped enclosed transport to Florida. If you are looking for a very well kept and documented TR6 that has always been loved and meticulously maintained properly and needs absolutely nothing. then this is your car. This car can be enjoyed. taken to shows and win immediately. Many of these cars have been through numerous owners and have been neglected and abused. Many have had some work done or claim to be low mileage all original. in which case they will need to have everything done. This car has already had EVERYTHING MECHANICAL addressed and needs nothing. The car starts up. idles and runs perfectly. The carbs are in sync and the engine pulls hard and runs smooth. Engine runs very cool. The temp gauge never even goes to half the gauge even when idling in the Florida heat. Oil pressure very strong exactly where it should be including at idle. Transmission and clutch are tight and shift perfectly. The suspension and steering are all very tight with no play. looseness or weird noises. The TR6 runs and drives like a new one. It comes with a complete binder of all records of the restoration. including service and parts along with the Heritage Trust Certificate and ownership history. I included photos of a few of the receipts but not all.   Also comes with convertible top boot/tonneau cover. original owner's manual. original spare and original jack and handle.

This is one of the best out there.
