1991 ROVER MINI COOPER. FULL NUT & BOLT RESTORATION  - SHOW CAR
 
Here is my Rover Mini Cooper 1991 carb model thats undergone a full nut and bolt rebuild with ££££s spent and 100s of hours to restore to the car to the standard that you see now. i've got photos of the whole rebuild from start to finish and these will go with the car. Tax till Nov and MOT till May 2014
 
BODYSHELL - The car was fully stripped to a bare shell and new bmh wings. front panel. nbsp;A panels and new bonnet were fitted.
n/s and o/s sills and sill steps replaced and all have been spot welded for a factory fresh look. The body was then prepared for paint. sealer coat. 2k primed. Rover Solar Red base coat . k laquer = glass like finish.
 
REAR SUB FRAME BLASTED. cid etch. 2k primed and finished in satin black. subframe then rebuilt with new parts. all new bushes fitted. reconditioned radius arms with new brake back plates. new wheel cylinders. new brake drums. new brake shoes. new brake fitting kit and a new handbrake cable.
 
FRONT SUB FRAME BLASTED. cid etch. 2k primed and finished in satin black. subframe then rebuilt with new bushes. reconditioned top arms. new ball joints. new wheel bearings. new hubs. recon calipers. new brake pads and new brake fitting kit.
 
ENGINE fully rebuilt with new oil pump. new high capacity water pump. crankshaft polished and new main bearings. new big end bearings. new thrust washers. new piston rings. all gaskets and all engine seals are new. new altinator. new clutch. new duplex timing gears and chain. new 11 blade fan. new spark plugs. new plug leads. new cap and rotor. hif44 carb with k&n filter fitted. 3 into1 downpipe wih rc40 exhaust.
 
INTERIOR . ll new carpet set with overmats. new front and rear seat retrim with matching front and rear cards. finished in black with red piping.
