Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.15) based on 480 votes
This is a freshly and correctly restored 1970 Dodge Super Bee. this car was manufactured on October 31. 1969 which is fitting considering it's color. This is an original "V" vin code car which means that it was equipped from the factory with a 440 Six Pack making it an original car. This car underwent a 2 year full restoration that included mounting the body onto a rotisserie. No expense was spared restoring this car back to better than original condition. Due to rust damage several of the floor and trunk panels had to be replaced. To keep the true authenticity of the car I purchased another 70 Coronet that I used as a donor car. all of the sheet metal on this car is original 1970 sheet metal. After the metal repair was completed. the underside of the car was treated to several coats of epoxy primer and paint (in body color). The exterior of this car is laser straight with a mirror glass finish. All of the mechanicals including the suspension. transmission and engine were completely overhauled. The car is a 4 speed on the floor with the original pistol grip shifter. The clutch and pressure plate are made by center force. The rear end is also original sporting a Posi-traction differential and 3:73 gears. The engine is an original 1970 440 block however it is not the block the car was made with. this is a super high performance 440 block. Fuel Is fed to the engine through an original six pack setup. Every part on or in the engine has been overhauled or replaced with original parts. The interior is black with a bench seat and rally gauges. Everything works including the wipers. horn and interior lights. The original radio is installed however sound comes from a hidden pioneer setup. The car has a functioning ram charger air induction system. The steering is Manual as are the brakes. Driving this car is a huge rush. it has more than enough power and drives very nicely. The car comes with a clean title and the original fender tag. Car comes with a full appraisal that can be emailed. please send a message if you would like a copy. Possible Trades excepted plus cash - Hot Rods & Muscle Cars only- NO bikes. RV's or Boats. We can assist in shipping if needed. See our other auctions including a real rare 67 Hemi Coronet.

Super Bee Facts: Dodge produced the Super Bee between 1968 and 1970. This vehicle was built October 29. 1969 (A29) and was one of a total of 27. 00 in that year. Base price of the vehicle was $3138 and it weighed in at 3470 pounds. It was equipped with the desirable (E87) 440 cid 3x2 barrel V8 high performance engine. producing 390 hp. 4 speed manual transmission with pistol grip floor shifter. fresh air hood. TX9 black upper door frame. wood grained steering wheel. F70x14 red stripe tires. rallye instrument cluster package and deluxe AM radio. to name the most obvious. The big and most important option here is the E87 engine option. This. in itself. adds 75% in valuation over the stock 383 engine car. As with most muscle cars of that era. this car was built with street performance in mind. Things like power steering. air conditioning and power brakes just took away horsepower.
