L/H Drive. Excellent Condition for sale

Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.15) based on 395 votes
Offered for sale is my red 1969 Triumph GT6+.
The true mileage is unknown. and since the speedometer is easily replaceable. I am listing mileage as over 100. 00 miles.   The car is in excellent condition. needing very little.   The car rides and drives fantastic.   It is a blast to drive!!!  I would not hesitate to drive this car across the country today.   Sadly. a third spinal surgery has caught up to me and I can no longer get in or out of it easily or without pain.   My loss. your gain.   Everything works on the car. except for the rear window defroster (the defroster grid on the window is almost completely gone).

Let's start with the body.   There is NO rot on this car anywhere that I could find.   The previous owner had both full floor pans professionally replaced. The previous owner told me that there was a slight ding in the right rear quarter. which was repaired.   And repaired very nicely. as I could not see any indication of the repair.   I listed a photo of the quarter so you can see for yourself.   The battery box was previously replaced.   All chrome is very nice.   Glass is all good. although there is a rock ding in the middle of the windshield near the rear view mirror area. that has a previous repair.   I was not going to replace the windshield unless it actually broke.   The right door vent window upper pivot point is broken.   I have a very nice(at least as good as what is on the car now) complete replacement assembly. with glass. that goes with the car.   I was in no hurry to replace it since I never opened the window.
I put the Minilites on the car and it has virtually brand new 175/70/R13 tires all the way around.   The paint is a decent 20 footer.   It is a repaint done somewhere in the past. but. it is starting to peel a little around the rear hatch area.   All other areas are ok.   All lighting works. including the interior dome light.

The Interior is in excellent condition.   Seat covers. carpet. dash pad and door panels(custom made and embroidered by previous owner) are all new.   Headliner is excellent. although I don't know how old it is.   All gauges work.   The dash is in decent condition. although the person who did the last refinishing did not do the best of jobs.   The transmission tunnel has been replaced.   The heater box has been refurbished and has a good heater core.   Heat works fine.   There is a newer Alpine CD stereo. although not hooked up. as I was undecided as to where to mount the speakers.   In the pictures you will see that the package trays are not installed. because of the speaker indecision.   I have all of the parts. mostly new. to go with the car.

Mechanical.   The engine runs beautifully and strong.   Starts easily.   No abnormal noises at any temperature.   If it sits for a long time(weeks). there is a slight puff of smoke on start up. but other than that. it doesn't smoke or burn oil.   Engine has a new fuel pump. coil. heater hoses and heater valve.   Just changed the oil. filter and air filters.   Brake and Clutch masters have been replaced as well as both their boots.   New tach and speedo cables.   New transmission mounts.   The differential has just had all of the seals replaced.   Center axles have new universals.   Both Rotoflex couplings are replaced.   Outer axles have all new bearings and seals.   New rear brakes and cylinders.   All of the rear end work was completed less than 100 miles ago.   Clutch is good.   Exhaust is good with an aftermarket muffler.   Radiator is good. no leaks.

I have listed everything I can think of about the car.   Please ask any questions you may have prior to buying.   I will get an answer to you as soon as possible.   I have listed everything as honestly as I possibly can. not wanting anyone to be scammed as I have been by Ebay sellers in the past.   I have a clear title in hand.   I encourage anyone to come and look at the car prior to buying. which is located in Forked River. NJ.   I know you will not be disappointed with the car. but please remember. this is a 45 year old car and as such. is not perfect.   There are no warranties. implied or otherwise.   Pick up or transportation of the vehicle is the sole responsibility of the buyer and must be picked up within 14 days from end of auction.   A $500. 00 deposit will be required to be paid to Paypal by the winning bidder within 48 hours.   Balance to be paid in person or by certified bank.   When funds clear my bank. I will forward the title to the auction winner.   If you don't have the funds to buy the vehicle. please don't bid on it.   If you come in person to pick up the car and it is not exactly as I have presented it. I will refund your money.   I treat people honestly and am proud of my 100% feedback rating.   I want to keep it that way.   Thank you for bidding and good luck.
