This car is a nice investment to drive or collect. especially with the escalating prices of this generation 911s. A California car with matching numbers and a very desirable factory sunroof.

It came from the factory with the desirable 2. 2-liter engine preferred by many enthusiasts of the marque over its 2. 4-liter successor as it revs more willingly.

Correct original factory color of Light Ivory on black interior with recent windows out repaint. The engine was just treated to a major service along with new oil lines. rear fuel hoses and filters. valve adjustment. plugs.   Valve cover studs were replaced at this time.   The sunroof seals were old so while the sunroof was out for the repaint new seals were installed prior to reinstallation of the sunroof.   The sunroof operates well.

Transmission bushings were replaced and the transmission shifts very including a noise free shift into 1st gear at speed. Carbs were balanced and adjusted as well as timing.  

This car drives very well. goes down the freeway straight and brakes straight.   The car is stable and solid at speeds well over the legal freeway speed limit. A joy to drive. The car’s has recently been gone through mechanically and it’s a joy to drive. starting without any smoke or hesitation. idling consistently and pulling strongly and smoothly through each of the original 5 speed transmission’s gears.   The engine is dry and has no leaks. Odometer shows 20. 00 miles. Likely to be 120. 00.

Rust seems not be an issue with the California car.   Floors and battery pans are original and rust free. The inside floors are shown in the photos.   The tape was placed to keep floor mats from moving around.   The Toyo Proxes tires have nearly full tread and are on original Fuchs wheels.   Spare included.

During the paint work all lenses were replaced with new and the headlights have the upgraded H4’s.   The H4’s have the original fluted Bosch lenses. Wiper blades and inserts are new. Chrome horn grills are new and the car has “S” trim.

Interior is good.   The dash has one crack and the door pockets are in good condition.   Seats have no cracks or splits.   Interior has no smoke odor.
