SELLER REMARKS

Vintage Mustangs are cool cars all by themselves. but add more power. sizzling red paint. and a big set of alloy wheels. and suddenly a good car becomes great. This clean 1967 coupe shows that the original design still has a lot of appeal. but there's always room for improvements.

There's no avoiding that screaming red paint job. and there's quite honestly nothing better than a red Mustang. regardless of the body style. The Marti Report that comes with the car indicates that it was originally code 6. Pebble Beige. but I'm guessing that not even the purest of purists would criticize the color change. A close inspection reveals few flaws. with outstanding prep and attention to detail and a shine that looks like a million bucks. It's kind of nice to see that they resisted the usual urge to add stripes and hood scoops and spoilers. and instead let the clean coupe styling speak for itself. In addition. all the chrome is quite nice on this car. including things like the door handles and individual surrounds for the triple-element taillights. a Mustang trademark from the beginning. Bright bumpers are the perfect punctuation to this neat pony. and you'll note that there are subtle cut-outs in the rear pan for the dual exhaust system.

Inside. a nearly spotless parchment bucket seat interior shows a restorer's touch. not a customizers wild imagination. something most Mustang fans will appreciate. The original gauges remain in place. and keeping an eye on the upgraded powerplant under the hood. and the clear lenses and bright markings indicate that no expense was spared on the restoration. The fat wood-rimmed steering wheel is the biggest modification inside. but it looks right in the vintage Ford's interior. and works in conjunction with power steering to make it a pleasure to drive. New seat covers. carpets. headliner. and door panels all add to the factory-fresh look. and the subtle combination will never. ever go out of style. The only other modification is the AM/FM/CD stereo head unit fitted in the dash. as well as the speakers throughout the passenger compartment. Oh. and I almost forgot: this car has factory A/C which is fully restored and fully functional. The trunk is outfitted with a correct plaid mat and full-sized spare with cover.

The great thing about Ford small blocks is that they make big power in a small package. The 289 cubic inch V8 under the hood is dressed to impress with a full Cobra dress-up kit. and you can see that they were careful to reproduce a period performance look. Freshly rebuilt to mostly stock specs. it's friendly on the street with good torque. it's a great performer with a great V8 bellow at full throttle. A 4-barrel provides the go-juice while long-tube headers scavenge the exhaust gases and dump them through a custom Flowmaster exhaust system. Power steering and power 4-wheel disc brakes work with new shocks all around to make this vintage Mustang feel decades younger and the C4 3-speed automatic feeds an 8-inch rear which should have 2. 79 gears inside. so it's actually pretty decent on the highway. Beautiful Torque Thrust wheels are what all the cool kids were using and wear 255/60/15 BFGoodrich T/A radials.

Professionally restored by Keck Mustang Restorations. this pretty pony is a mild resto-mod that emphasizes the Mustang's strong points and drives superbly. Call today!
