1959 Corvette Restomod LS1 Project for sale

Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.05) based on 359 votes

Here is a 1959 Corvette resto mod project car that needs to be completed. This car has had some of the major work started but it needs to be completed. It had a full C4 Corvette front and rear independent suspension graphed to the original frame with 4-wheel Corvette disc brakes. It comes with a C5 Corvette LS1 engine with low miles ready to go in the car (I would sell for less without the engine if not wanted).

The body of the car needs some work but is all there.  The body is in decent shape. The firewall will need a little repair as well as a few holes in the floor.  It has a one piece front end that needs to be permanently mounted and fitted to the car yet. It is sitting on a set of newer C5 Corvette alloy wheels. It comes with a lot of extra parts but the car is missing tons parts to complete it. What see in the pictures is what you get with the car with the exception of a parts hood to repair the original and also front inner fenders. It is perfect for a custom car as you can build the car the way you want it.   I have started to collect lots of the expensive pieces like the bumpers and soft top frame.

This car needs a lot of work but is a real 1959 Corvette with a clean title and original vin number and vin tag. This car finished is a $100. 00 to a $150. 00 car depending how far you go with it. Email with any questions before bidding or purchasing. this is a major project and I want you to know what you are buying. Also do not bid if you don't intend to purchase. This car is being relisted due to a none paying buyer.  The car is forsale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction if the corvette sells.

I have had alot of questions about the frame and front fiberglass. I do not know who built the frame as I bought this car from a dealer and he didn't have any of that information. What it looks like to me is that the front end needs to first be bonded to the cowl and then fit to the frame. A few modifications might then be needed to get the perfect ride height as it looks a little high to me but I am no expert. Please do not bid if you don't feel you understand the condition or state of this project. Please email with questions or better yet find a time to veiw the project in person. The car is being sold as-is!!!
