1965 CHEVROLET CORVETTE ROADSTER Unmolested Original

This Corvette was purchased from the widow of the original owner by its current owner in May of 1974.

The original owner was a professor of Geology at UCLA.   Being a southern California car. it was ordered with a hardtop only.   A soft top frame is included with the car.   The car still has the UCLA parking stickers on the back bumper.   It was a daily driver until 1977.   It currently has 134. 00 miles on it.

The car has its original numbers matching driveline. The engine is the 350hp 327 with the original carb. distributor. ignition shielding and exhaust manifolds still intact. The engine has never been apart. Interior is original. It was repainted once in 1976 and needs it again.   The original power antenna has been replaced with a stationary mast.   The oil filter mount has been converted from the old canister style.  Brake calipers have been replaced with stainless sleeved cylinders.   The exhaust has been upgraded to aluminized pipes with Flowmaster mufflers.

The car currently runs and drives. It needs a tune up. and tires. The brakes are soft. The tach. clock. lighter and turn signals do not operate.   You may contact the current. second owner. Pete. with any further questions 260-437-1538

Terms of Sale

The buyer will submit a NON-REFUNDABLE $1500 deposit within 24 hours of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle.   Deposit will be through Paypal.   Buyer agrees to pay the remaining balance. via a wire transfer or cash. due within 10 business days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before removal of the vehicle. If deposit or balance is not received within time frame indicated. buyer will forfeit right to purchase. vehicle will be re-listed. and negative feedback will be left. Vehicle must be picked up no later than 30 days following end of auction (above payment terms must be met).

 Buyer is responsible for all delivery costs that may apply. Ask any and all questions before bidding. I will answer as quickly as possible.   Physical inspection is recommended prior to end of the auction. There is no warranty with the car. It is being sold AS IS.

 I reserve the right to cancel all bids and end an auction early should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. All payments must clear before car can be released to new owner.
