April 1960 Mini. This can only be described as better than new. Full original matching number car.
A unique opportunity to purchase a Very early Mini. as close to a 1959 Car as you can get.

Heritage certified. This car maintained many 1959 features such as the non flush windows front and rear. correct and Original Glass. High end Valuation due to the year and '59 similarities. Show car standard.

Documented history. Tax discs. MOT's. Service records and photographic restoration. Heritage Certificate showing Supply to Car Mart in London on the 27 April 1960 with the only option of a Smiths Heater.

Flat. Perfect Farina Grey in and out. De Luxe interior Red and fleck Grey. The interior has a £2000 restoration bill. original correct interior and 2nd quarter 1960 month correct dial. gear lever and floor pan. Full body up restoration with bills for £22000. this is a quality drivable museum piece. Original shell with dealer body upgrades evident from 1960.

Engine in BMC Green rebuilt in 1993 and only 10000 Miles since. I have overhauled all electrics new period Cap. leads. plugs. rebuilt dizzy and original HS2 Carb with brass fittings. The engine bay is near original with exception to a "dealer memo" bottle change. The dealer service would have removed the glass bottle.

Great clutch and gearbox. little better than perfect mechanicals. no clunks. steering is precise and subframes are very good. All grease nipples are clear.

Date stamed Wiper mechanism and original Coventry rad core. Steel Fan and period tyres.

Shows 97000 miles from new. documented over 50 years. One owner had the car 22 years.
This is a collectors car and have had interest from Japan and China.  I have many detailed pics so please don't hesitate to contact me but no Dealers. Canvassers.
A chance to own one of the first Mini's and a significant investment with uses for Film and TV and current BMW showrooms.
The steel oil filler cap. radius arm covers and raised dealer plates will be fitted prior to sale.
