Ladies and gentlemen here it is.   You are bidding on a 1945 Willys jeep that although it has been repainted a few times is in excellent unrestored condition.   The previous collector did do so minor repairs but this is not a restored jeep.   Although this would be the perfect jeep for a restoration. I would not recommend it.   I believe this jeep needs to be preserved in its current condition.   The floors and side panels are solid and straight.   You have to see it in person to appreciate it.   The MB motor is in excellent running condition with great oil pressure and zero smoke.   Jeep goes through all gears with ease.   All the accessories displayed such as original canvas top. side curtains. grease gun. jack. jerry can. axe. shovel. tool bag etc. are included with the jeep.   I'm also including an NOS exhaust system to replace the original that is in bad shape.   The master cylinder was removed with the intention of rebuilding it but it never got finished.  All three seats are original and very solid.  All you need is an original set of seat cushions and she's ready to be enjoyed.   Wiring is in bad shape so I would advise replacement.   I've replaced the battery with a good one.  The gas tank is in great shape but it's not connected. the jeep is now running on the small red auxiliary tank seen on driver side.  According to original documents in the glove box. the jeep was in the movie catch 22 that was filmed in 1968.   I have the cancelled check from the producer and I have the original contract dated 1968 to support my statement. With a good day worth of work this can be a daily driver.   You don't find jeeps in this condition too often so don't let this one get away.   I recommend that all interested parties come inspect the vehicle in person to make sure it is what he or she is looking for.   You won't be disappointed!  Jeep is titled and ready for shipping.
