For Sale 1956 classic beach buggy" transferable registration plate

 

Unfortunately i no longer have room for this beautiful 1956 classic in apple candy red.

 

This bug is engineer built. down to every nut. bolt. brake pipe. not bits and bobs thrown together in a garden shed. It really is in excellent condition and took approximately 5 years to complete. 98% of the work was completed by 2011 and fully completed in 2013' Its been tastefully modified to fit in with driving demands. disc brakes. suspension etc. I'll get to these later. Its not really been used since completion bar making everything as good as it should be. Its been rebuilt with mainly new parts where practical. It goes very well and very much looks the part in its "candy apple red". real head turner "Any" inspection invited.

 

Photos from before and during restoration are present. As is a copy of the original log book.

 

Its TAX & MOT exempt. (1956)

However it as a 12 months (No Advisorys) mot to prove it is fit for purpose! The vehicle doesn't require seat belts just hop on and out!

 

The number plate was valued at over £1700 and it is transferable. TLJ 124. (Do the maths sell the plate & pay £90. 00 to DVLA for a new transferable age related historic plate)

 

The buggy has a few very minor paint imperfections. but from 2/3 yards away they cant be seen. Just being honest.

 

It also won ' best beach buggy ' at the VW buggy show at MFN a few years ago.   Buyer gets the Trophey.

Engine is a 1600cc twinport Custom made inlet manifold 1 1/2 su carb 009 distributor Adjustable front beam Front disc brakes. New calipers Head lights are worth a small fortune. New rear brakes Copper brake pipes New brake master cylinder Metro steering column and switches. Head lights worth a small fortune. Kill switch and isolation switch. 7 x 15 ( front ) Wolfrace alloys / 8. 5 x 15 ( rear ) Its also had new floor pans. new petrol tank and all new wiring (done properly) The paintwork alone would set you back £2000.
