1969 Mustang Mach I 428 CJ "R" code 4 speed project car.  It came from the factory Lime Gold with black interior. nbsp;428 Cobra Jet. 4 speed. 3. 50 traction-lok. power steering. front power disc brakes. tinted glass. AM radio. tachometer. and very rare for a 428 car it came with a tilt-away steering column. The car is showing 82465 miles on the odometer. I have owned the car for a little over 4 years and have a clear title in my name.  I recovered it from a barn where it had been sitting for many years. This of course took a toll on it. because it is a rough project car that has a lot of rust and even though I have tried to take pictures of everything. the potential buyer should probably come and inspect the vehicle for themselves. I have not dug around much to see what is salvageable. just planned on the usual complete floor. torque boxes. trunk area. quarters. nbsp;and the obvious on this car the trunk lid. hood. passenger front fender. and probably front aprons. someone tried to remove hood hinges but instead of taking their time they just pulled them through so even though I have a nice original set of hinges and springs included. the aprons will have to be replaced or repaired. The cowl section as shown in the pictures is in good shape. As shown in the pictures I have a very nice original Ford hood. drivers door and fender. and a set of big block shock towers from a 70 R code because someone has notched the ones on this car at some point. The car still retains its original Nodular case 3. 50 rear. All of the glass except the windshield is good and the chrome around them will probably clean up and be driver quality. but missing the chrome piece behind drivers door glass. Of course all the goodies were gone including the seats. but I have replaced them with a set that will clean up and be driver quality. from what I have found only two little holes in the driver's seat. All of the interior trim pieces are useable which was a surprise. even the door panels look decent except for right around the handles they are cracked and have had some screws put in places they didn't belong. nbsp;with only the passenger side dash lower trim piece missing. The dash only has one crack in the middle coming off of the vent but could be cleaned up and used if preferred. As seen in the pictures it still has nice dash assemblies including the very expensive tach dash. What was also surprising on this car is. it has not been stripped of all of the little stuff and the wiring is really nice. with most of the original wiring clips still in place. I have only found a few wires in the engine bay area that have been cut. and even the console wires are still intact. I have a nice crack free 4 speed console included that just needs a new insert. As you can see in the pictures even the original windshield washer reservoir is in place and good. along with the tilt-away check valve and vacuum reservoir for the tilt-away system. The tilt-away column and vacuum unit was missing. but I have a nice replacement tilt-away column. The 4 speed frame bracket is still on there. along with the rod from the pedal. and I have included an original correct engine side bracket and bolts. original C8OA clutch fork. an original Z bar that has been reinforced. and also a set of original 428 frame mounts and bolts. It also still has the hard to find original shoulder harness seat belts along with the dual bottom belts to match. but the back seat belts have been cut. I have included a power steering setup that will need rebuilt. with a HBA-BF pump. but it does not have the correct 80b pulley on it. The wheels are nice original driver quality and the tires are new Custom 428's that have never been on the road. There is also a big block mustang radiator included. but it is not the original. nbsp;also included is an original set of rear window louvers with hardware included. The buyer will have the option of purchasing separately. an all date code correct drivetrain that I have slowly gathered for this car if they choose. It is an all Janauary dated engine. except the water pump. with all the correct pulleys. brackets. C8OF-H distributor. and CJ exhaust manifolds for this car. I have a C9AF-N carb that I will let go with the drivetrain but it is for an auto CJ not manual. The block is a nice . 030 over and has been checked. the crank is a ready to go . 010m . 010r. the heads are complete and nice but have not been checked. very nice oil pan. nice date correct front cover and oil adapter. restored set of rocker shafts. nice set of C7 rods with a nice set of TRW forged pistons.  I also have a correct big shaft RUG-AE2 that is also a good date for this car. and a January dated CJ bellhousing with inspection plate and block plate. original 11 1/2" pressure plate. and a correct C8OE flywheel.  I have tried to do my best at accurately representing this car. but I am sure there are some things I have missed. so ask questions and I will do my best to get them answered.  The only reason I am selling is I have another identical car but it is a Q code automatic that I was already in the process of restoring when I found this car. nbsp;plus I have picked up a nice 67 S code that I plan to fix next. I may be interested in trades to other old Fords. I have more pictures available but I figured anyone interested probably already knows what a rough 69 Mustang looks like and I had to narrow it down to 24 pictures. Some items I forgot to add are a correct 69 BB trans crossmember. what appears to be the original driveshaft. and an original Hurst 4 speed shifter with linkages from a 70 R code (handle does need rechromed) that will be included with the drivetrain separately.  I am thinking somewhere in the neighborhood of $6500 for the drivetrain that will be offered to the buyer of the car only.  Going by current conservative prices everything I have for the drivetrain would part out for over $8000.  This car would be a great investment for someone that does their own work or have access to an affordable restoration shop.  I do not have to sell so low ball offers will be ignored.  As soon as we get the liberals out of Washington. the economy will come back and these cars will go back up and out of reach once again. Thanks for your time and for your interest in my add.   I had to make some changes to my pictures so I went ahead and added one of the engine which as stated above can be purchased separately with the drivetrain by the buyer of the car only.
