1939 Chevrolet Master 85 Business Coupe

Long-time collector owned. Rust-free original that received a complete restoration some years ago and shows beautifully today. This is a true business coupe with no back seat. These were the quintessential traveling salesman's car. Plenty of space to hold your encyclopedias. vacuum cleaners or Fuller brushes(!) As such. most of these cars were used up by the 1950's and few survive today - especially in this condition. Please see photos and video.

Rebuilt stock 216 cubic inch. 85 horsepower "Stovebolt 6" engine runs smooth and quiet with plenty of power. No smoke or unusual noises. (See video. ) I have personally driven this car and it operates as it should. Smooth shifting 3-speed transmission. Undercarriage is clean and rust-free.

The body is laser-straight and appears to have had one repaint in black. Paint has a deep reflective gloss as can be seen in the photos. Shows beautifully. All chrome and trim is bright with no pitting. The interior has been reupholstered in period tan mohair. Garnish moldings have new woodgraining. Rubber floormat and runningboards are in excellent condition. Car is well-optioned with clock. radio. heater. bumper guards. whitewall tires. twin tail lights. dual fog lights and City/Country Horns.
