1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 Beautiful Rust Free

Hello.  Here is a fantastic opportunity to get into a beautiful Alfa. These cars are so hard to find in well sorted. and rust free shape that when they come along sellers usually want super high bucks. but this one is priced right and ready to go. Im helping a computer illiterate friend to sell this car. but i know the car well and have driven her a bunch. So with that being said. on to the car!   This Alfa has been restored over the years and maintained very well. The body on the car was treated to a respray in the original color some years ago but shows very nice with no major flaws. The body is very straight and i tried to show this with some of the pics. no wobbly bodywork or anything like that. This car has never been a rusty car and still retains the original floors from what i was told. and they are in great shape. No rust!  trunk pan looks great. as does the rest of the underside. The doors shut nicely. as do the trunk and hood. There are a couple minor rock chips. but you have to look for them. But for a 40 year old car the body is in better shape than some 5 year old cars. The car also appears to have never been hit. The chrome shines nicely. grill has some minor pitting. The stainless bumpers look good. All of the lights work as they should.     The engine and tranny were rebuilt about 18. 00 miles ago and perform awesome. Previous owner states that it is the original engine and tranny. The car was upgraded with the euro cams and they give her a nice idle. One of the highlights to this car is the tranny dosent grind at all. You really can enjoy shifting through the gears on this Alfa with no annoying grinding noises. as gtv's had a problem with this. The car starts right up even when cold and settles into a nice idle. Out on the road you notice how torquey the engine is. She pulls very nicely from all over the rpm band and is quite quick. The engine bay is also quite presentable and tiddy. A real Italian driving experience.     The interior of this car is very nice and is consistent with the car. The seats are in great shape. and are soft and comfortable. The car does have the original carpet in it and it shows well. but does have some imperfections. nothing major. The dash is nice but does have a small crack by the glove box door. Headliner was redone. rear view mirror needs to be installed. but i have it. all the gauges work as they should. heater blows hot. Steering wheel is gorgeous. Al in all in is a super nice driver quality interior.    So to sum this car up. she is a beautiful low mileage original car that looks great at a local car show. or is just as happy driving country mountain roads. This is a ready to go classic that has only been climbing in value and is a sound investment. The owner of this car always treated it to whatever it needed to maintain her and keep her in a beautiful shape. While the car is not perfect or a 100 point concours car. she could be brought to that level. or left to be the beautiful driver she is. Im sure i forgot things so please ask any and all questions.
