1978 BENTLEY T2 Green with Tan Leather FSH from new, warranted 57000 miles

Originally ordered by the Chloride Group on behalf of its chairman. Michael Edwards. the order was cancelled when Mr Edwards was appointed Chairman of British Leyland. Letters to and from Rolls-Royce and Chloride are included in the comprehensive file. which also contains the original build sheets and the original sales invoice in the amount of £24. 52. 77 on the 22nd July 1977. The car was eventually passed out to Kennings in December 1977 and first registered. to a Mr N. G. Hanson. in January 1978.

It has a checkable owners list from new to date and more importantly a comprehensive 3 inch thick history file with every invoice from new detailing works done with a no expense spared attitude to the maintenance. The car was owned by 2 long term owners in Sloan Square who lavished money on it. The car has 4 new Avon Tyres. a modern Alpine Stereo with working Bluetooth hands free and Ipod cable in glovebox. The air conditioning blows ice cold. The car has been fully waxoyled. I have just had a set of Wilton over mats made in Dark Green with Tan Piping including a full Boot carpet. This transforms the look of the interior and it presents with no wear. The leather interior is excellent.

Finished in Brewster Green with tan hide interior. the car was specified with special features. which included a black Everflex roof. pencil beam reading lights in each rear quarter. with independent switches. plain Sundym glass. a special recess in the rear armrest with forward hinged lid (for a dictating machine). Blaupunkt ACR. 29 cassette player (in place of the quad item) and a fire extinguisher.

This example of the very rare T2 is offered in very good condition in the same specification that it had when it left the factory in 1977. It is offered complete with the previously mentioned and very comprehensive history file. an original factory brochure and the full book pack. in the original wallet. which includes a stamped service book with service stamps from Kennings. H R Owen. Jack Barclay. And every invoice and details of work undertaken and correspondence from The Owners Club Ltd. the Chelsea Workshops and other specialists. The car was last serviced in November 2013.

This is an original Bentley which has a FSH from new and tens of thousands of pounds lavished on it with the correct dealers and a warranted 57000 miles.

Its a good genuine car with no chassis corrosion and all the expensive work done. a great car to keep and use and improve.
