1970 Plymouth Barracuda Gran Sport Coup

Original high impact color Sublime (Limelight) Green with Houndstooth Interior

Originally a 318 car now a 340. All solid sheet metal with one repaint in 198192. 00 miles on it believed to be the true mileage.

The car was an air conditioned car at birth with rare Limelight Green with power steering and brakes. The car has all original body panels except for drivers side floor pan that was replaced in 1981 with a factory OEM part. Car is super straight and all body panels lineup nicely. There was no rust when repainted in 1981 so it's not a bondo beast. Car has never been in an accident to my knowledge and I am the 5th owner.

There are a few chips. nicks and scratches to be expected out of a 1981 repaint. I do have paint made for it in a spray can and touchup can I will include. 340 Hockey stripe was added.

I purchased this car to turn it into a pro touring car with my son. but he passed away. I have many cars so am not hurting to sell it. but just don't have a reason to hang on to it any longer for what we were going to do to it together. Make a fair offer and I will consider it. It's a great driver or show the way it sits and gets allot of attention.

Many new parts. the whole drive train was done by the 2nd owner in 1981 at 70K miles and has since been garage kept by previous owner I am told.   The 318 was replaced with a period correct 340 with a mild cam bored 30 over with 4 bbl intake and nickel plated Holly 750.

I have been told car dynoed at 375HP the trans was rebuild with 727 with a shift kit and 2400 stahl speed converter. Rear end is 8 ¾ with 411 gears. Got a new vinyl top. speaker package tray and headliner 4 years ago. all look new.

It has drums on the front but I have all new disc brake set up in boxes ready to install. The A/C is removed but all ducts and vents are in place. another reason I bought the car. There is a crack on the dash pad by the speaker cover.

New steering box. front and rear sway bars. complete exhaust. motor and tranny mounts and much more. Starts and runs without pumping the gas. New legendary seat covers installed as well as carpet and sill plates. Council with slapstick. wood grain gauge cluster. overhead council. trunk light works. red inserts on door panels remember it's a Gran Cuda. Tires have barely been driven on.

It would be easy to make this one perfect because it is all there and you're not starting with a mess. been there done that. No more rusted out shells for me. Not looking for trades unless 68-70 Charger. nbsp; low ballers please don't waste both our time. Low reserve set.
