Frame off restoration done right on this true RS.

In the last 2 years this car has seen every nut and bolt turned. The car started off in great shape as many California Cars typically do. however doing a frame off restoration and spending the time and money on this car that we did. we needed to make sure that there was nothing hiding. The body was lifted from the frame and at that time. the frame and body were individually blasted and then powder coated. The upper/lower control arms. radiator support. inner fender wells. brackets. and pulleys were all done as well. The body was dismantled and the car was painted with the doors. hood. trim. lights. grill. bumpers. and windows removed. The paint job. is very clean and was done by BAB auto body in San Carlos. CA. The car caries a gorgeous shade of Bolero red exterior with a clear coat that shines so well. you can use the body panels as mirrors. The lines of the body are fantastic and there is no need to slam doors. All the weather stripping has been replaced with new soft seal rubber.   

HANDLES LIKE A DREAM  

She handles well due to many different features: The Rev 17" Wheels provide for many different options when choosing your rubber and currently they are fitted with new Milestar 235-55-17's in the rear and 225-45-17's in the front. To help keep this car glued to the ground she has QA1 adjustable coilovers all the way around. All new polyurethane bushings and ladderbars keep the rear from losing traction and put the power to the ground. A new eaton posi rear-end with 3. 55 gears and racing axles finish off the undercarriage. leaving it looking spotless. Fuel and brake lines are all new. as is the fuel tank. New power disc brakes on the front provide excellent stopping power to bring the car back down from high speeds. The car is equipped with power steering. making it drivable on both the highway and in the parking lot.

A NEW DRIVE TRAIN TO BUTTON HER UP 

This L-79 high performance engine from the factory had 325 hp. enough for the average driver. however the rebuild on this engine saw all new parts including a Lunati cam. gear drive. dual plane aluminum intake. custom holly roller rockers. 11:1 hyper-eutectic pistons. and the engine was bored . 30 over and a tame summit 600 CFM electric choke carburetor. The engine is now close to 400 HP. The transmission is a recently rebuilt turbo 400 with a shift kit.  

PAINT THAT HAS CLEAR FOR MILES AND INTERIOR THAT IS ALL NEW

 The Paint was done just 6 months ago and was a 3 stage job. The Painter is well known in this area for his work on everything from Aston Martins. Detomaso Panteras . and Original Shelby's. The body is seamless and the clear shines like nothing we've seen before. All Panels . doors. the trunk and hood all line up well. The interior has all been redone. from the carpet to the headliner. everything has been replaced. A new dash pad. and brand new upholstery finish off the interior.
