I have for sale a 1968 Triumph Spitfire.  It is not in running condition- The motor is out of it.  I bought it two years ago from a guy who had garaged it as a project for 15 years.  It has been tarped under a carport at my house.  I got it with the intention of rebuilding it with my oldest son.  I have built several cars and this was a father/son project.  Well my son did not inherit the car rebuilding bug and has moved on to other things.  Now I have a young son who wants to race dwarf cars so I need money!  Out the door this Spitfire goes. as much as I would love to get it rolling.
This is a California car and has no rot anywhere. just some surface rust in some spots.  I posted some photos of the floor. trunk. and rockers.  I pulled the 1296 and had it magnafluxed and bored.  Crank was ground.  New bearings. rings. and pistons are installed.  The head has been reworked with new valves.  I just started on the motor. so it could easily be broken back down and re-assembled by the buyer for their piece of mind.  The parts are fresh and clean and lubed.  I have all the parts needed to put the car in one piece. plus many extra parts.  I inherited several crates of parts. so there are duplicate drums. axles. springs. starter. gauges. and many other items.  The convertible top hardware is here.  I have the pink and the title is clear.
Basically this is a solid project that is on it's way- Just need someone to finish it.  I'm not getting rid of it because I found something wrong or I screwed up the motor or I'm over my head (I've seen those cars. believe me).  I just need one less project so I can get my boy a race car!
