1968 Series 1 1/2 E Type Jaguar

This E type has spent it's life in sunny California I bought it through a friend from the previous owner who says it's been laid up for over 20 yearsthough it does have some rust issues (don't they all) it's minor compared to most projects like this. nbsp;It's pretty well complete spare wheel. rear light and quarter bumper not shown in the pictures are there. however it will need a full restoration to bring it back to it's former glory or you could without too much effort or money get to a roadworthy state and drive as is! As you can see in the pictures it has the wrong engine. it's fitted with a 302 ford V8 and auto box. I'm happy to remove this and reduce the price. At this point I've made no attempt to get the engine running so i can't say what condition it's in. The series 1 1/2 retained many of the desirable features of the series 1 but not the hefty price tag they now command!! Making this an affordable alternative and more sort after than the later series carsI have many more pictures of the underside. inside. outside etc. if your require these please send me your email address
