For many years my Dad enjoyed the thrill of driving his two MG's. He lovingly restored and maintained them with no detail missed. Sadly Dad passed away this spring and now our family has decided to sell them. The first is featured in this listing. his 1969 MGB GT. In a later listing we will be selling his 1974 MGB roadster. This 1969 GT is in Primrose with chrome spoked wheels and a black interior. It also has an overdrive transmission and a wooden steering wheel. which was a favorite of Dad's. and was a factory option that year. The engine and transmission were rebuilt and the car was taken down to bare metal and repainted. All the other components were either replaced or rebuilt to like new condition. The details are listed below.

This is a car that was driven and not treated like a museum piece. It was taken to many car shows and enjoyed much success. Unfortunately for my Dad he had to decide which car to take seeing as both were frequent winners! I'm including a list of the many awards this vehicle has won in the photos but two events stand out that are not listed. The first was The Masterpiece Style & Speed Showcase 2008. This is an invite only car show located on Milwaukee's lakefront and is hosted by the Classic Car Club of America. It features premier foreign and American cars from all makes and years. The second was the the Award of Merit that he received in 2011 at the Botham Vineyards Vintage Celebration. There were only three such awards that year in a show where all cars are judged in one class. It was also featured on the cover of British Motoring from Winter 2007. This magazine cover and his award from Botham are also in the photos.
