Hello all.   Here is one of the best bug eyes you could find to do a resto on that ive seen. This car is so solid and not rusted out like most early sprite projects. And is mostly all original and complete. This will be a fun project even for an amateur. Please look at the pics as they tell a good story. So lets get into the car a bit.   The original 948 engine starts right up and holds good oil pressure. She has been converted to single weber carb. but original is included! she revs up strong and sounds great with no strange noises.  Takes about 5 minutes to warm her up. but after that. this car is a blast to drive. The tranny is an exercise in patience as she still is equipped with the original. but it works and shifts as good as they should. Once underway this bug eye is so fun to drive and really does handle like a go cart. and yes those are real Fenton racing wheels on her(originals are included). Actually she drives quite nice for an unrestored bug eye. I had here out on the road today and i was loving it.   The body on this car has very limited rust issues. One spot on the bottom corner of the bonnet and a couple bubbles in the paint. and even then they are not super serious at all. The underside is pretty amazing for one of these. The storage area behind the seats looks fantastic. as do the rockers and doors etc. this is a very dry car. The body is pretty straight with no major imperfections. doors shut pretty nice.     The interior is mostly there but should be redone. all the gauges work except the fuel gauge is intermittent.     Dare i say to buy this car and just clean her up as you go. or you could do a full resto on her. either way this is one awesome bug eye to get into. She was driven pretty regularly just the way she is but has been sitting for a bit. so the brakes and clutch are spongy. i will see if i can bleed them out later this week. All in all. this a perfect classic car for a guy wanting a complete running project with very minimal rust. Bug eyes are so fun and every time i drive her people smile and wave. I do have a buy it now but am afraid to put it up due to scammers. so if you are serious about the car you can reach me at 425-802-8682. i reserve the right to sell locally and im sure i forgot to mention stuff so please ask any and all questions. Thanks for looking
