FOR SALE MY MGC GT IN BRITISH RACING GREEN . nbsp; Recently professionally repainted. nbsp; 
this is a great car . runs well. much faster than would be expected happily exceeds 70 on the motorway. top speed 120 mph  this MGC GT is fast and reliable. nbsp;
Reliable - a couple of  weekends ago travelled from Yorkshire to cambridge on sunday. back home and then to cheshire monday . 550 miles faultlessly in two dayslast weekend to Tatton Park. manchester . motorway closed due to accident sat idling for an hour. all fine 
 Complete with :-webasto type sunroof. ( actually weathershireld manufactured )  Overdrive
Work competed in last few years is probably too much to list . but the major items are :-  1. remachined cylinder head. new valves seals etc  2. stainless steel exhaust  3. new brake servo . and refurbished callipers. EBC green stuff pads. clamping new disks. new brake cylinders. - stops extremely well   4. new splined hubs installed all round a few years ago. wheels are tight on the splines as they should be. new chrome spinners   5. tyres . Avon with 3/4 of full tread  6. painted wire wheels. 15 inch as per original spec . larger than MGB   7. NEW LEATHER seat covers as original - all set foams replaced at the same time ( original  covers retained. and can go with the car )  8. black carpets. and the all important original MGC GT rubber Mats . still in v good condition   9. front and rear bumpers have been replaced as the originals were not economic to restore   10. original headlining a cream beige striped fabric. fitted at the time the sunroof was installed - i believe 1968. ie from new . had become very fragile. so was replaced this year   11. new clutch slave cylinder   12. new clutch - 3 part set fitted. plate cover and release bearing just 700 miles ago   13. new rear lever arm shock absorbers    14. new fuel tank 5 years ago   15. polybushes all round   16. LED lighst to illuminate instruments . what a difference that makes. i can now see how slow Im going at night time !  17. LED interior light - can now actually read a map in the car !  18. new windsreen . as original was going milky at bottom corners - new front and rear screen rubbers   New door windows. as old ones had scratches from operating 19. new side chromes and headlight bezels   - Halogen lights  20. new rear and front side lights. - no bad earths or dim lights here  21. Electronic ignitionplus many other smaller items. ie engine mounts etc. to much to list   HERITAGE CERTIFICATE AVAILABLE   
converted to 2x 12 volt batteries in the original battery cradles. always starts even after long "waiting" periods  

ROAD TAX is of course free. but only just renewed  Uprated parts include larger front antiroll bar to help improve turn in. nbsp; 195 tyres - do not rub on rear wheel arches    

Selling as I have another car or two . and having completed this . now wish to focus on my new project 
viewing by arrangement . im just 5 mind from Jn 40 of the M1 
advertsied elsewhere. so i reserve the right to close auction early
