1977 Alfetta GTV 2.0 for sale

For sale my 1977 Alfetta GTV which is an excellent original example of the highly distinctive Giugiaro-designed GTV coupe. Finished in Alfa Red. has the Alfatex interior which is in good condition with a slight rip to the driver side seat. Included are 5 No optional Campanatura fin-design alloy wheels in good condition as is the original steering wheel. In 1989 the car was subject to an extensive bare-metal (158 hour recorded) restoration. but is starting to show signs of age now - some crazing evident. but crucially there is no significant rust (In. fact. you would be hard pushed to find any) and has circa 89. 00 genuine miles. A full pictorial record and history of the vehicle is available on request. There are a number of old MOT's complete with original hand book. service and warranty books and invoices which include prop-shaft rebuild and balancing. usual maintenance and carb rebuilds etc.

I have owned the car for a few years now and have enjoyed owning and working on her including doing the following works – all oils and fluids changed. new head gasket. electronic ignition conversion. rear axle rebuild including new wheel bearings and bushes and new rear standard springs. master brake and clutch cylinders. front flexi pipes new shocks all round – front ones are adjustable. GTV6 anti-roll bar. new door seals. 4 new 195/65/70 14 tyres on recently powered coated magnesium Campagnolo wheels (sadly not totally blemish free given they were quite pitted when I bought them). In summary it runs and works as it should. clearly there will a few niggles still to sort but it's just passed a MOT with no advisories with recent 6 months tax.
